At some point in my adult life I have injured my shoulder. I don't know exactly when but I have a partial tear in my shoulder. There has been a lot of PT and medication to ease the pain but it all works minimally. I recently purchased a shoulder brace, not this one, and while it was of good quality its size left more to be desired. I saw this one and read about the sizing and while it is a bit smaller than the description, it fits me, it also helps relieve that pain. That is what matters most. I needed this to work and it did. I couldn't recommend it more. My arms are 14 ¾ in full flex and this is a bit tight on them. This was purchased for my husband. His right shoulder was injured at the gym and having this product to support his shoulder makes it possible for him to do his routine with less pain/stress on that joint.We gave it 4 stars because the initial fitting was so tight (could only wear it for 15 minutes) that he thought we would have to "add a piece of something" to extend the brace for a more comfortable fit. I sew therefore I began a "hunt" for neoprene and was ready to stitch the extension when I decided to have my husband try it on again & measure length of extension. As it went, the device had stretched enough to make it bearable for his next session at the gym. Now we expect it to stretch even more with use. I don't believe that is a good thing? Not so sure. We will evaluate in a few months. Nothing is PERFECT but this does give good support.

I have gotten this for both my right and left shoulder. I was a swimmer for over 15 years and I injured my shoulders really bad doing butterfly. I finally went to a doctor many years later and found out that my acromion bone had yet to fuse. (Acromial fusion) This is turn led to having tendinitis in both my shoulders which is extremely painful. I have given birth to my baby and think my shoulder pain is more painful. I found this brace out of desperation while my shoulders were hurting and I bought about 6-7 different shoulder braces. This one supports my shoulder and I can even slide ice packs inbetween. I seriously love this product. 100% would recommend.

this worked for me--had tears in rotator cuff and a dislocated c7--oh they talked implants in the spine and repair of cuff. I used this an it prevented over extension and provided support. I'll probably buy again since I loaned this to another and it never came back--yes it worked for them and then they loaned it. I think between us all we put our rehab place out of business. And who has 30 min to drive for rehab that for me has resulted in worse damage in the past?

This product works well. I bought 3 different types and ended up using this. My shoulder was injured 5 weeks ago and I am doing physical therapy for it but it is still at only about 75%. I got the shoulder “brace” more for purposes of keeping the muscles warm when I play basketball – which I am continuing to do in spite of my shoulder condition due to the fact that I am player coach for a team here in Seattle which has a national tournament coming up in a few weeks for which I continue to try to get ready despite the injury. The brace keeps my shoulder warm without a great deal of restriction and is helping me get through the practices as my shoulder slowly gets better. It’s a very good design.

Doesn't work if you have boobs. Didn't provide me any support at all, was tight around my bicep, ballooned out at my shoulder (where I needed the support) and couldn't fit comfortably across my chest. The one thing I will say is that I got a refund very quickly and without any fuss.

Rubs your skin. Rough material. Awkward for women. I have a large bust and it either crushes my boob or I have to slip it under my boob and that hurts as well.

Husband hurt himself lifting. Shoulder was aching all night long. This works great. It fits his chest (he wears a 46 coat) and his bicep. As a weight lifter, I was worried it wouldn't be large enough. I removed 1 star because the neoprene is VERY warm to wear for long periods and where the velcro attaches on the bicep, it creates an irritation on the chest.

Good Belt - After wearing it half the pain has vanished. This will repair the muscles.
