GoFitness Push Down Bar - Chest Workout Equipment for Home Gym

I purchased this item a few months ago and wanted to give enough time before passing judgment on the purchase. First, the item is solid and very well thought out. It targets the areas very effectively. Also, it has a very small footprint, which makes it even better for small workout areas. Simply put, the machine provides adequate resistance and that's what it was designed to do.In addition, the company is top notch, in my experience. I encountered an issue early on with my purchase (through no fault of the company), and the company went above and beyond to exceed my expectations in addressing the issue. I would HIGHLY recommend this item to anyone looking to add a unique, high quality piece of resistance equipment to their workout arsenal!

I was looking for something for a good Chest workout and this has worked out real well. It also offers a variety of exercises for a full body workout. It looks easy but the resistance gives you a tough workout. I started off with the 90 lbs and quickly realized that I had to go to a lower resistance. Contacted the company and within days I received the 70lbs which is more manageable for me. Great customer service! I am 69 years young and I take this with me to work, travel, and use it on days that I cannot get to the gym for resistance training. It is well made/sturdy and I can begin to see the difference on my chest. I am looking forward to graduating to the 90lbs. I will post an update with results soon.

This is a decent workout gizmo. Provides a good pump in the chest and in the upper arms and shoulders. It’s solid and sturdy enough for its intended use. That being said for the price this device should have a little higher grade molded plastic on it and should not make as much noise as it does when compressing it. Not a huge deal breaker just a few things to consider before spending 80 dollars for the strongman version(90lbs). It does not provide as much of a mind to muscle connection as power twister bars but does have another way of activating the muscles differently imo. All in all I like it but probably wouldn’t of bought it out of my own pocket if I didn’t have the reward points to cover the cost.

This works very well and is even more useful than I expected. It has a better range of motion than the twister style arm exerciser I have been using for many years. I noticed a strategic placement of one end on the floor allows exercising both horizontal adduction and abduction, and by switching between holding the device in front of the chest or anchoring one end on the floor it will work both the shortened and lengthened ends of the full range of motion. The workout training program that comes with the device is very nice, but a little creative experimentation can produce even more versatility. Of course the ultimate test is seeing if it is still getting used regularly after a year or two, but so far I think this has a pretty good possibility of passing that test.

It’s ok for some exercises, but doesn’t replace weight lifting. I wanted to use it for chest exercises but I don’t really feel my chest muscles. Now it is just left unused.

This product is a must have , one of the best workout gadgets I've ever owned , I originally bought the 90lb version , it's has alot of resistance , I do many exercises with it , really great for triceps push downs ,curls ,and I do version of a push up flys with it , loved the product so much I bought the 50 lb version because I wanted to get a deep stretch on the chest flys , it was perfect for that , I also do biceps and forearms with this version , it's substantially easier then the 90lb version , came with a little suggestion card , and I loved the product so much I decided to reach out to the company and give them my thoughts on the product and certain specifications I'd be interested in , and I was blown away when they told me they were currently manufacturing the version I was interested in and that they wanted to send me one for free , and they did ! I never had any company do that for me , not only do they make quality products , but whoever decided to send me that had a good heart , that was awesome , I recommend you check them out !

I hate more than anything paying full price for an item and being sent used product! I never open them. This packaging was beat and clearly already opened. I will be returning.

Have been looking for an innovative piece of equipment for multiple uses and the Go Fitness Bar is absolutely excellent. If you are a serious lifter (I am) it functions for me as a chest warm up exercise and replaces bands for stretching prior to my workout. If you are new to working out and need a little motivation in a small space, this is a bar for you. The Go Fitness folks designed a bar for multiple uses and there is a guide to get you a full workout using one piece of equipment. One other thing that is so rare these days. I had a minor question about the product and sent an e mail to the company and got a response within minutes. I will always support companies who understand that best products do not often win but the best companies do......and I am a Go Fitness customer for life.

Idéal pour des exercices de résistance variés. Je l'utilise principalement pour les pectoraux ; il fonctionne très bien. J'avais commandé40 kg le modèle à résistance standard, qui s'avérait un peu léger pour moi,. Après avoir contacté le service client, j'ai reçu gratuitement la version à résistance plus fort, 50 kg , sans avoir à renvoyer l'original. Cela me permet de renforcer ma musculature progressivement Une excellente affaire. Je le recommande vivement.

Todo perfecto.Es un producto sencillo, basado en muelles, y con unos buenos agarres. De primeras la pinta del producto inspira confianza y parece robusto, de buena calidad, creo que durará. En la caja se incluyen buenas instrucciones para saber cómo empezar a utilizarlo.Un producto ideal para todo tipo de ejercicios de resistencia.Si no tienes mucha experiencia te recomendaría la versión de 30 kg. Yo pequé de optimista y lo pedí con resistencia de 40 kg, pero para algunos ejericios me resulta difícil de comprimir.Contacté ayer mismo con el servicio de atención al cliente (muchas gracias Mike!) y rápidamente me han dado solución: Van a enviarme la versión de 30 kg sin coste adicional, y no me hacen devolver la versión de 40 kg. Esto es genial, porque me permite desarrollar mi fuerza poco a poco, y poder llegar a utilizar la resistencia más fuerte en el futuro.En resumen, un buen producto, y una excelente atención al cliente.Recomendable!

Ho contattato l’assistenza e sono stati gentilissimi: mi hanno inviato quella da 30 kg e mi hanno lasciato anche la 40 kg, così potrò usarla più avanti man mano che miglioro con gli allenamenti.Il prodotto è fatto bene e il servizio clienti è stato davvero impeccabile. Good quality item came well packaged and included a nice exercise guide. Its very smooth in action, I have limited space and think this will work well for some strength work without having to get the bench and weights out, it will make a good addition to my fitness regime.
