If you do HVAC work this is a great tool for duct measurements and marking traverse holes. Magnetic so it attached to the duct vs. trying to use a non-magnetic measuring tape. Sticks to the duct so you can mark your measurements fast and easily while squeezed in a tight space.

It works nicely and the magnetic side is very strong and stays in place.

NOT TO SCALE - Fridge magnet with measuring tape
This tape is NOT to scale. At 24", this tape is already out 1/8", and 2mm at 40cm. If that’s accurate enough, this will work fine for you. This can be used for general reference only. For me, it is what i intended it to be for, and since i got it on a clearance price, its useful enough for me to keep.. If you need accuracy, get the Starrett stick on measuring tape. Quality is just okay. Will see how it lasts, though for me it will be in a static environment on a steel work bench. Magnet is about as strong as a generic fridge magnet. Just enough to keep it in place, but not strong enough to keep it from moving if you bump it. I wouldnt consider the lines to be sharp on the inch scale, worse on the metric side - making anything less than 5mm and 1/8" intervals difficult to read.
