Versatile with great options
The stake is sturdy for the ground and can be angled if needed. The different stream selections are very generous in distance and coverage as well. Easy to adjust the rotation too.

Works great so far
This product is working great so far. I got this one and an orbit one so I could compare and the orbit leaks water everywhere and the streams are not great.

Easy to set and use
Great product. Covers a lot of distance whether you set it for half rotation or 360 rotation.

Better Than a Kick in the Head
Hmm...I started a brand new lawn from scratch, with four separate zones, four electronic timers, two brass two-way spigot splitters, eight separate 25' hoses, and eight of these Melnor 65065 sprinklers, and these sprinklers got the job done.Note: I'm retired and have time to monitor the situation....On a well system that pushes 42 lbs of water pressure - so, nothing super duper, but an average amount of pressure for a well system - these sprinklers required CONSTANT monitoring in order to ensure that they would start and perform their duties, especially at the INITIAL start-up per the timers: After 30 days of use, with the 8 sprinklers set for 3 sessions per day, that's 720 total separate opportunities for the sprinklers to perform their duty......I'd estimate that I experienced a roughly 90% success rate - the main problem is that one of the sprinklers - and they were all susceptible to this on occasion - would NOT start up and make the INITIAL half-circle from my preset stop-to-stop. The fix is to manually grab the middle of the sprinkler body and turn/twist it in one direction or the other until it reaches either the left or right stop, THEN, the sprinkler will spring back on its own and perform its remaining timed duties for as long as needed. It's that INITIAL start-up and INITIAL left or right movement that sometimes needs a little manual help. Again, once the sprinkler(s) reach their initial stop and make an initial return, they are on their way to performing their remaining timed duties. This requires CONSTANT monitoring, because a 10% failure rate can leave one area bone dry while the sprinkler stays in one particular direction and basically floods a small area of the yard - UNLESS you manually help it to get started and watch it make that INITIAL stop and spring back return....Would I buy them again?Maybe.I would try the similar style "Orbit" dark green sprinklers first, but, I wouldn't expect miracles either. If you've got the time and inclination to monitor the INITIAL start up of each session and each sprinkler, then these sprinklers will reach between 25-35' - depending on the wind and top-tab distance setting - and serve you well.* Use the slide tab on the top to adjust the stream in order to send the water farther (35'), or to disperse it more widely but for slightly less distance (25')....I was basically happy with the sprinklers, but again, I'm retired and have all the time in the world to monitor the initial start up, and manually turn/twist any sprinklers that may need a little help making that first stop and return move.Again, a 90% success rate, and decent water flow and dispersal - you've just gotta keep an eye on them...

Better than Orbit
Pretty nice, haven't had them long. I know they work better than Orbit and they're steel unlike the plastic Orbit one.

User friendly, easy to adjust
Easy to adjust, consistant, and a few spray modes to choose from. The older spray were confusing and kept breaking, so I decided to spend a little more but this is worth every penny.

Many spray options- Sprinkler has some issues
Two year update:3 of the 4 sprinklers have failed. Use a basic impact sprinkler on a spike instead. It will be more reliable.Background- I was in the irrigation business over 40 years and bought these for use in some temporary work. These sprinklers can be used in series (through the base design), allowing for more than one sprinkler on a system (zone). The limiting factors will be1. Available water pressure2. Size of hose used (friction loss)3. Length of run. (friction loss)The manufacturer does not state the GPM (gallons per minute) of the watering nozzle(s) at a fixed pressure, so it's guess work to know the outputs of these things and how many can be used in series. For reference I started with a base water pressure of 55 psi and used 3/4" hoses.I used four of these sprinklers in series by "center feeding" or splitting the run into a "T" shape on 25' sections of hose. The supply hose went to the center of the run and split two directions using a standard hose "Y". The results were mixed. There was too much friction loss in the setup and the sprinkler performance was sub par.I noticed that one of the sprinklers was not rotating and could not be induced to do so. Thus the 3 star rating. A 25% failure rate is not acceptable, especially right out of the box.Removing the fourth sprinkler (non rotating one) from the system allowed the other 3 sprinklers to perform adequately. Stream "break up" is used by sliding the yellow tab (diffuser) over the water stream. This can be used to lessen the length of throw (radius) and/or achieve better close in watering to the sprinkler. The spikes used in these sprinklers bend quite easily and I would not rate them heavy duty. They are also not flimsy, so "medium duty" would be an accurate description.Adjusting the part circle rotation of these sprinklers is similar to adjusting an impact sprinkler. Moving the two yellow collars on the bottom of the sprinkler will mimic the limits of its rotation. For radius adjustments, see above diffuser description.I assume these are "gear drives" sprinklers which means they will rotate at low water pressures (when they aren't broken). I hooked them up to a low pressure source (25 psi) and indeed the non broken ones did rotate. All in all, these do not replace a well designed gear rotor, but work o.k. for what they were intended.I hope this helps you.

Sprinkler broke after several months of normal use.
I love this sprinkler. It's easy to attach, has multiple functions and you can define not only the range of motion, but the depth of spray. Unfortunately, after several months of normal use, the sprinkler broke on me last night. I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. It worked fine in the morning. Then in the evening, I noticed it was simply spewing out from the bottom, rather than spraying from the nozzle. Somehow, without moving the sprinkler between sessions, the internal section of the sprinkler became detached and the water could no longer get through the nozzle.

Good build, great value
So far so good. Have been using it daily for over a month, no issues. Lots of different spray settings, although only one works best for my front yard shape. Great value for money IMHO.

Great range
This is a great little sprinkler. Even with fluctuating water pressure it continues to spray well. Had a good spray range.
