Awesome light. We kept one and gave one to our son-in-law for his grill. The storage case that came with it is awesome, great place to keep the light protected when the grill is covered.

Light works great for grills, griddles, and working on your car. Magnet is well strong enough to hold light, but will fall off from anything other than a light bump. I wasn't expecting much based on other reviews, but it's definitely brighter than I expected. Very satisfied with the light. Good price.

I bought this because I have a high-end custom-made BBQ island with an expensive BBQ grill, that I didn't really think through with lighting placement when I designed it. There's light but the actual cooking area could use a bit more, so these little lights seemed to be perfect fix. Especially after looking at the videos and seeing how they stuck to the silver aluminum like grill hoods. Well, it turns out my hood is not made of a magnetic material .... These lights will not stick to it or it's base. They stick to the utensils and the fridge but not anything around the grill. They are not expensive and I can find another use for them .... but I was disappointed as I thought I found an easy fix. I ended up purchasing another light that clamps on to the handle of the hood. Not quite as versatile and "out of the way" that this option would have been for me , but it works .... and it didn't cost me a fortune to rectify my design mistake. I gave it a three star more because it wasn't emphasized enough about the possibility there are many grill hoods that may not be magnetic. They should have been a bit more cautionary in their comments.
