Works great, but I wouldn't call it "New"
Giving this 4/5 stars as it's most definitely not new, though that's the only thing in the description I would say is misrepresented. The keyboard I received looks to be a refurbished keyboard (as the back of the keyboard is a bit creased and shows some slight signs of wear), but it types better than my original keyboard so I couldn't be happier. The key functionality works without issue (per my tests so far, though I'll update this review if I run into any issues in the next few months) and the back-lighting works as expected.Just be aware that this product ships from China, so standard shipping will likely be by freight (e.g. placed on a shipping container and boated over) which explains the 6 - 8 week expected delivery times. I elected for the expedited shipping and the product got to my door (e.g. I live in the upper Midwest) 6 days later.The installation process was also relatively painless. I used this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tp90M_N6dzs) for reference. The keyboard removal process is about 3:15 in. As they say in the video, the original keyboard is held in with double-sided tape, so just be aware when removing the old keyboard. Installation of the keyboard is basically a reversal of the removal process, though you will want to make sure the metal tabs are straightened out on the replacement keyboard before putting it into place.As I said, I have to dock this a star for listing a refurbished item as "new" which this obviously isn't. Other than that, I am very happy with the keyboard. Let's hope it lasts as long as my original did, if not longer.

Not Identical but a Good Fit
I bought this keyboard for my Asus G72G after my three year old decided to spill yogurt all over my old one, shorting out the X key and causing the space bar to stick. After exactly two weeks of waiting, I received a brand new keyboard (despite what other reviewers are claiming) and easily replaced my old one. Thankfully, it works perfectly. I do, however, have a few minor complaints. The first is that while my laptop is black, my old keyboard was black, this one is not. it is a very dark grey which would look fine after replacing the bezel but, unfortunately, the bezel does not fit over the new keyboard. It does fit perfectly in the space, filling in the gaps where the bezel had been, so it isn't THAT big of a deal. Second, it doesn't seem to be sitting perfectly flush along the top. It is raised by a good 1/16th of an inch. Not too horrible, but I'd like it to be even. I've tried adjusting it a few times but it doesn't seem to make a difference. It isn't perfect but it is much better than having a keyboard that doesn't work.

Works but not a new unit
Was expecting a new keyboard . What was delivered was either a used unit or one that was removed from a unused computer. The mounting tabs were bent already and there were a few marks on the keys. The unit was bowed also. The unit works fine and it fixed my bad "a" key issue but it did not install properly due to the damaged mounting tabs.
