Hair Color Cream PPD Free Hair Dye, Ammonia Free Hair Color, Vegan Odorless with Sun Protection - Natural Black

Over the years, I’ve developed a severe allergy to chemical dyes, which has caused painful swelling and blistering of my scalp and skin. Because of this, finding a safe hair dye has been a real challenge. I’ve tried numerous so-called “natural” options — including Herbal Time, Indus Valley Henna Hair Dye, Phyto Care Herbal Hair Dye, and Vegtal Hair Dye — but none of them worked for me. In fact, they all left my hair an odd shade of purple! This product, however, has been a complete game-changer. It gave my hair a rich, natural-looking black colour with absolutely no itching, irritation, or burning sensation. I did leave each cream on for about 20 minutes (a little longer than recommended), but it worked perfectly — and, best of all, it didn’t stain my skin at all. I’m honestly so grateful to have finally found a hair dye that’s both effective and gentle. I’ll definitely be sticking with this one!

Poor quality product. After following instructions I coloured my hair but the grey hair was still there. Total waste of money

After having tried numerous hair dyes that claim there will be no reaction, I am very pleased to say that from my own experience of using this product, it actually is true. This is the first product I have ever used where I had absolutely no burning sensations whatsoever. Prior to my purchase, I read many of the reviews which say there were no English instructions, this was not the case from my experience. I have also uploaded pictures as proof. The instructions were easy to follow and the process is simple. Put the contents from the first bottle on your hair for 10 minutes, then you put the contents of the second bottle on your hair for 10 minutes too, however, I chose to leave the dye on my hair for 45 minutes after putting on the second bottle. The change of colour was quick and again, there were no burning sensations. I took many more pictures to upload, but unfortunately some of the pictures did not format correctly otherwise there would be pictures of the full contents that were received in the box. This is definitely the product for me from here on and I highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for something that woks but also does not set your head on fire and resulting in having a scabby scalp for a week or two.

The only hair dye that hasn't caused a reaction. I've given it 4 stars simply for that. I don't think it's value for money at all, you don't get a lot and it left a lot of my greys tinged purple. That said, I'll defo try it again. Just very expensive and doesn't last.

No allergies but won’t work well I left more time but still not covered also looks like blue colour instead of black.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to for this product, in case it helps other allergy sufferers like me. I have naturally black hair, which is sadly greying now. A few years ago I developed an allergy to conventional dyes. I spent about a year messing around with Henna and Indigo, but I found that it took all day, and the results were very mixed. For me, indigo didn't really stick well, and I hated the fact that I had to leave it on for around 4 hours. (It also gave me headaches.) This product is so much quicker. The only downside is that I find that it works best if you use Henna first, so I still end up with a two-step process, but it's a far quicker one, and it actually works. I tend to apply henna. Then I use a heat cap for 30 mins, which is sufficient to turn my roots orange. (Without the heat cap, it used to take a few hours for the henna to work.) Once my hair is dry, I can then apply this. You apply the first layer like a convention hair dye. After 10 mins, you can apply the second layer on top. Again, you have to leave it for 10 mins before washing off. I tend to find that by the time I've finished applying the first layer, it's more than 10 minutes since I started, so I go straight into applying the second layer. In total, including processing time, it takes 30-40 mins (depends how quick you are at applying). This is so much quicker than the 4+ hours that I used to spend applying indigo, only to find that it didn't even work!

If I could this minus stars I could. This was possibly the worst box dye I have ever used. This product claims to be natural. Lies. I wanted to try something for delicate for my hair. The overpowering egg smell is sulphate. The same over powering egg smell you would get in a hair colour remover. Clearly they have over compensated no PPD and no ammonia with more sulphate. I started rinsing my hair out, it was breaking and falling out in pieces! Not to mention the messiest dye I have ever washed out, this is a person who has been all colours! Most expensive waste of time. I used to have a block fringe. Now it is frazzled and won't sit against my face. This product has destroyed my hair.

My mom has a very sensitive skin and she tried everything- some hair dye from big brands, ammonia free, hena dye, and anything she can find in the chemist warehouse. However, this was the fastest with almost no irritation. She is so happy to be free from burning scalp after dyeing her grey hair and willing to buy them again
