D. L. Jardine's Special Edition All Natural Habanero Salsa XXX Hot Texas Ranch Recipes 16 Oz (Pack of 6)

We all agree that the Chocolate Chip Cookie is the best cookie, right? Other cookies exist for when you've eaten so many Chocolate Chip Cookies that you need to mix it up. For me, that's this salsa. It is in its own league. I do not want to know how much money I have spent in my life on JUST THIS SALSA. Amazon would tell me most of it, but I don't want to know. I discovered this in a local store in Tucson, AZ, but then moved away and I can no longer get it locally. So I order it. Mrs. Jardine (or whatever): Thank you. You make one of those products that makes my life noticeably better. This salsa, Arrested Development. Flannel Sheets. You know... all the best things. P.S. Look, I know that taste is very individual. That's why they call it "taste". I'm not saying everyone will love it as much as I do. Not everybody likes whiskey, or Pappy Van Winkle. But Pappy is a darned good whiskey regardless, and this is a darned good salsa. If I could give out 6 starts only a few times in my life, i'd drop one here.

I've been buying DL Jardine products since the company started up in the 1980s, I think it was. As for this Habanero salsa, it's the best. I eat it regularly, and it's the only one that I will buy. However, getting the lids off can be problematic. I purchased and just received a battery-operated lid opener, purchased here on Amazon, and in a few seconds, the lid popped right off. I had been trying for days to get the lid off before deciding to dish out the money to try a battery-operated lid opener.

I love the taste of Jardines Hot Sauce. However, the last time I ordered 1 or 6 jars arrived broken. This time 3 out of 6 are broken. As much as I love the product, it doesn't make sense to pay for 6 jars and only get 3. I'll have to find someone else to buy this from. The shipping just sucks.

The product is awesome. However, the shipping is very poor. 2 of the 6 bottles were completely smashed upon receipt. They do not offer to replace the damaged product.

I ordered a case of six jars and two jars were broken and one jar had a dented lid which popped the vacuum seal so it's not safe to consume. Each jar was wrapped in a very thin piece of bubble wrap and placed in a small box, which was placed in a larger box without any kind of padding to prevent jostling. This item is not eligible for returns, so I had to speak to a representative, and send a video of the damaged items. Amazon refunded my purchase price so I could reorder without spending additional money. So I did get three jars for free. As to the product itself, this salsa has been my favorite for more than twenty years, and despite the xxx hot rating it isn't very hot but delicious.

This salsa is very fresh tasting and full of flavor. Its not processed like other bland tasting brands. You wont go wrong with this salsa, I'm a regular purchaser.

Box was apparently dropped. Two jars were broken and the lids came off two other jars. I ordered two packs of six jars each and each pack had two jars broken. It was a very big mess throughout the box with salsa and glass everywhere. Requested refund!
