Frost King R516H 1-1/4-Inch by 7/16-Inch by 10-Foot Thick Sponge Rubber Foam Tape, Black

I bought this tape to stick to the rails of a stand I bought for my lap steel guitars to cushion them and keep them from sliding around. I had originally thought about using Velcro but wasn't too stoked about sticking a piece of Velcro on the backs of my steels. Somebody on a forum suggested using insulation tape and, you know what? It works perfectly. Nice and cushiony, and they don't move at all.How well does this stuff work as insulation? I don't know for sure, but it looks like it should do the job.

Some jerk decided to use a crow bar on my door and bent the frame to hell. For temporary solution to keep from getting soaked when I drive the car; this stuff works AMAZINGLY. Nice and dry. Perfect size, too.

I used this to stack machines for costumers, it works great and easy to set up.

I used this around my window air condition and it worked ok. tape seems sticky but easily slid off of wood during installation. Nice and thick

I've had a problem with my back window rattling for some time now, so I decided to try this. It came really quickly and I used the entire roll inside the trunk. Closed the window on the tape, and went for a test drive. The annoying rattle I had before was reduced by about 90%! I mean yeah I hear a little bit of rattle but you won't ever get rid of it completely especially if you have an SUV like I do. However, this was a great option for me because I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on sound deadening. Definitely recommend this!

Disappointed. It flattened almost instantly. When I place it on my roof rack carrier, I pressed down hard to ensure adhesion and it flattened and didn't come back to form. It is too 'foamy', which it were more rubbery.

Great product

Bought both to minimize cold air draft and to help block noise. This is moderately successful on both fronts. Don't expect this to completely block out cold and noise. However, it does enough to prevent the cold from getting in through the gaps (I had an uneven gap and actually did a double layer), and muffles by about half the decibels of the neighbor's sports car rumbling.
