Comparison of four shoes: I tried on the indicated sizes of the four shoes listed below – I had them all at home and compared them extensively. All four shoes were pleasant surprises in that I liked all of them very much and the first three were very inexpensive. The main differences in these black loafer-style shoes are small differences in style and fit. The Geox and “Bike” slip-on had defined heels, giving a somewhat dressier appearance; the others had molded soles/heels. The SAS shoe had a leather band across the front (where a penny loafer would have the penny band). One thing that I can’t comment on is how they will fit after a couple of months of use, but I suspect they will remain good. I confess that I kept one of each shoe – I expect that one or two of them will turn out to fit particularly well but can’t predict which those will be.1. Rockport Men's Palmer Venetian Loafer 12W, 13MComments. Loved these shoes. There is a small amount of elastic at the joint between the top and side of the shoe. Leather and fit very nice. Runs a bit big: I usually am 13M but that was too big and 12W fit. Excellent value. Comes in M and W but not 12.5.2. Rockport Men's Style Leader 2 Bike Slip-On 12W 13MComments: Loved these shoes. Fit and leather similar to the Palmer Loafer except the shoe is higher. As with the Palmer, 13M was too big and 12W fit. These have a longer toe box3. Geox Men's New Damon 2 Plain Vamp Loafer 12.5, 13Comments: Loved these shoes. 12.5 and 13 were available but not W width. Mainly true to size – maybe slightly on the large size. The toe was flatter with more room than in the other three shoes. 12.5 was slightly too tight, so had to go with 13.4. SAS Men’s Ace slip on loafer13M, 13Narrow, 12.5W, 12.5N.Comments: I got these directly from the SAS company in New Orleans, but they also are on Amazon. SAS was fast and very helpful – I tried two sizes in one shipment and sent them back for two more sizes which were shipped immediately in exchange even before the first two were received back at the company. Because in the end I kept one size, all postage both ways (through the USPS) was free. I also love these shoes. They are a somewhat closer fit, but seem to fit very well. This particular style is somewhat more casual. There is more arch support and ventilation holes on the inner side.

I really like these shoes. They're very comfortable with no areas that commonly rub. They seem pretty scuff resistant and they look nice. I wear these all day at work without any issues, which is rare for me when wearing dress shoes.

I love the slip-on style. My father is a rockport man and bought me my 1st pair two years ago. I just replaced them and you can see comparison photos above. I replaced them with the same shoe because they are insanely comfortable and convenient. They've got a sharp enough look although I might wear slightly more formal shoes to a wedding or other highly formal event. I see these as more of an office shoe.The leather shoe itself holds up incredibly well. The bottoms tend to disintegrate. When the inner sole on both shoes literally wore away and the grip finally went away I decided to grab another pair. Highly recommend - but don't expect these to hold up under heavy walking.

I absolutely love my Rockport Men's Style Leader 2 Bike Slip-On shoes! These shoes are not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable. The slip-on design makes them super convenient for daily wear, and I can easily slide them on and off. The quality of the materials used is evident, as they've held up really well over time.They are a fantastic addition to any wardrobe!

Bought at least 2 pairs in the last 3-4 years. Surprising light, very comfortable, toe box large enough. I have plantar faciltis and must use additional foam pads which work well with the built-in pads. The only down side is the shorter-than-expected duration of the soles. I wear them for daily work in city and office environment. Soles deteriorated after a few months. The average duration of my few pairs was no more than 2 years (wearing 2-3 days per week). The top leather lasted much longer. That said, they are very good shoes, given the price.

I dislike wearing dress shoes because they always hurt my feet and / or leave a scar on my heel. These were very comfortable.

These were super easy to order and they fit perfectly. That said, I already owned a pair of perfectly fitting Rockport shoes and I just bought the same size. It sure is nice when a manufacturer is consistent in sizing their shoes.These shoes are in style, shiny, comfortable and everything I want in a shoe. They were easy to break in. I bought them two months before an event where I'll be walking/standing for 10hr a day with few breaks. They conformed to my feet (or vice versa) within a week and I've never had a hot spot or sore foot. The sole of these shoes is a firm foamy rubber that is good and cushiony and I have no fear of transitioning from my desk job to walking the show floor for a week.The only possible problem is that I bought these to replace a pair of super light slip-ons that look dressy but feel like (I hate to say it) Crocs. By this I mean the aspect of Crocs that I love which is that they are super light and cushiony. I must continue my search for my favorite Rockports.

Solid quality and a TRUE size and fit at 10.5 wide. Looks and feels comfortable and stylish. Seems solid for wear and time will tell.

The picture for the black shoe is incorrect - these are slip on shoes with no laces and are therefore not fit for purpose for me. Sad waste of my time and their money returning :-(

Excelente calidad

Rockport shoes had been my favorite shoe brand for decades. Even from Europe, it was worth the additional hassle to buy this typically American brand of shoe. When my old pair finally were worn out, I bought this pair, ignoring the existing negative reviews. That was my mistake.These shoes feel cheap. Really cheap. They look so-so but feel nothing like the Rockports that the company used to advertise as worthy of running a marathon in. Had I opened them within the return window, I would have sent them back, but alas, I had to eat the costs and dropped them in a second-hand clothing bin instead. Maybe someone else will be grateful for them.Did Rockport move all their factories off-shore to some horrible, cheap place? Did they decide that their shoes should feel like they were entirely made of plastic? I can't say. Whatever the reason, stay away.
