Awesome for boot care, I keep my Red Wing Iron Rangers and engineer boots supple and preserve their color and patina with Bick 4. No color darkening issues. I have a drawer full of leather products but Bick 4 is my go to. After a good brushing and a deep wipe down with a damp cloth and a welt scrub with a damp small circular welt brush, I work the Bick 4 in by hand, then wipe the boot down. If necessary I'll do a light lather scrub with Red Wing's low suds leather cleaner using a small circular brush, wipe down and let dry ... then apply the Bick 4. Never any issues and my boots retain an awesome patina.

This is magic. I should have gotten this a long time ago. I had some leather boots which were all dried out because I haven't worn them in a while and a few applications of this and they were good as new. No dry papery leather and the color shined up just like new too.I use it on my cowboy boots every other week or so since I wear them daily and sometimes they need a little conditioning. This removes all the scuffs and restores a rich tone to the brown leather boots and shoes. It doesn't darken the color per se but it restores it to a nice rich tone which if your shoes are dried out and lightened then this would look like it darkened it but it's not.I even use it on my leather jackets and I am thinking about using it on my leather car seats. Why not? It's leather and it's a conditioner. The jackets turned out great and the colors look good after an application.I definitely would recommend anyone with leather shoes and boots to get a bottle or two and apply liberally and frequently as needed to preserve the leather and keep your footwear looking good.

I used Bick 4 on my Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandoulière and I’m seriously impressed. It cleaned and conditioned the leather perfectly without darkening or altering the color, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It brought back a nice soft glow and made the leather feel fresh and supple again.The application was super easy, and it absorbed well without leaving any residue or greasiness. I also really appreciate that it's safe for all colors of leather, so I feel confident using it on my more expensive items.It works really well and you don’t need a ton of product, so the bottle goes a long way. For the price, it’s a fantastic value. If you want something gentle but effective for cleaning and conditioning your leather goods, this is definitely worth it.

Careful, this absolutely WILL darken some leathers. I am on my second order because I do love this stuff but it does and has darkened my Iron Rangers in CRT several shades and never lightened back up. I would 5* this if not for their claim that it does not darken leather. Attached photo is 1 day after treatment on front boot. They will eventually go back to a more copper shade, but it takes a very long time.

I had a few pairs of leather shoes with a lot of life left, but with spots that looked dried out. I've used products in the past that darken the leather and give them a "wet" appearance; I wanted something gentler that just nourished the leather instead. This stuff worked perfectly on all 3 pairs, all different colors (british tan, brown, burgundy) and different types of leather. They now look like plants that just got watered. Highly recommended!

So far so good!! Received item on time 1st pair of real leather boots light brown 1st day of wearing had a couple of scuff marks and they were removed by this product. That made me very happy considering the investment in new real leather boots 🙂 Rubbed in with sponge let dry buffed with buffing cloth made for shoe buffing and it came out beautifully!! Very happy will buy again!!

I bought this because I have heard that it can condition leather without darkening the leather. A lot of conditioners out there will stain and darken leather, but I have found that what I heard is true - so this is a product that is reliable for conditioning without darkening!
