My apple charger that came with my MacBook Air stopped working so of course I went to target and got a cheap knock version for $10 which had to be plugged in overnight to give me a full charge. I thought for months the battery was dying but I figured I give it one more shot with a new charger. Ordered this one and it is AWESOME! Fully charged my MacBook in an hour. The cord it comes with is 6 feet which is plenty for me. So happy I gave it a shot. The brick is a little large but it works well and that’s all I care about. Highly recommend!

Bought this in Dec 2019. It just died yesterday. Not horrible, but not great. It's been dropped a few times, but it died while plugged in and not moving.

UPDATE:As I suspected, this cheap knockoff is no longer even charging my laptop. Had it charging overnight and woke up to a laptop that was only 24% charged. Within minutes of turning it on, it had dropped to 16%. People, don't buy this product. All they've done is give me a refund (the other option was a replacement), and this $28 charger appears to have done irreparable damage to my two-year-old laptop.Original review: I gave this five stars because I want people to see my warning in this review. When I was looking for a charger I could keep at home (to supplement my original Apple charger at work), I was snookered by the overwhelmingly positive reviews and ignored the one-star reviews. I started using this inexpensive charger a week ago and it was working fine. But I was off work for days and when I returned to the office this week and hooked up my laptop to my original charger, I noticed it wouldn't charge. It finally died and I could not get it charged. Was forced to work using my phone, which is impossible. The new charger is still working, but I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before it fails as so many of the other one-star reviewers have said.Really wishing I had not gone the cheap route. Moral of the story: Choose Apple products.

I normally include a photo, but it looks exactly like the picture, and I’m too lazy to get up from my bed LOL. But honestly, this is a really great charger! I bought it for my Razor computer because my friend’s rabbit chewed up the original charger :( but it works just like the charger that originally came with my computer. I like the little blue light that shows that the charger is receiving electricity, it’s kind of fancy in my opinion but very cute.For durability this charger has served me well for as long as I’ve had it, and I’ve had it for going on a year or so. I wrap my charger up around itself, and I haven’t noticed a difference in its charging ability by doing so. The material the charger is made of does scratch from just daily use and the jostle in my bag, but it doesn’t effect it’s ability to charge.Overall 10/10. Great price for a product that will last you!! 😄P.S. I don’t know if this is from the “lightening” charger or my computer, but I notice that the battery only lasts for about 5-6 hours, and I’ve heard that some lightening chargers drain your battery faster, but I’m not complaining honestly. I don’t use my computer that much, and if I do, I just use it while it’s charging. So whatever floats your boat, sailor. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Update: I contacted Amazon about the defective adapter the day after receiving it and they immediately sent a replacement. The new one works perfectly so far. Definitely a good price for this adapter and I like that it comes with a short cable in addition to the long one. Increasing the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.Unfortunately, I couldn't try out the adapter because I couldn't attach the cable to the adapter body. The USB-C port inside the casing was not properly aligned with the port opening. It was enough off center that the cable connector wouldn't go in.I might have been able to insert something into the opening and push the port to align it properly, but I didn't want to take a chance on voiding the warranty if there were scratches inside the port.I'm giving 2 stars rather than 1 star because it does seem like a quality product overall. Everyone has quality control issues now and then.Amazon is sending a replacement. (They were great to deal with, as usual.) Since this item had a lot of good reviews, I'm hoping my experience is just a one-off issue. When I get the new one, I'll update this review.

I bought this for my new MacBook Air and wanted a fast charger, and this one does the trick. The increased amps from the adapter makes it go quicker.

The charging brick randomly stopped working despite only use this charging brick at home, so it's not subject to a lot of stress or environmental change. Probably cheaply made which made the charging brick malfunction. Definitely wished this product had lasted longer.

The media could not be loaded.  One of the best product I have ever buy!!!!!!!!!!!!Please purchase for it!!!!!!!!!The story is long and its like i am a student so I decided to buy one charger of a lower price(u know it is expensive if i buy it from apple!) and i missed for it like 5days because it was send to my mailbox but i ask the doorman for one million times! When i open it i just feel they are sooooo sweat to give me an extra typec line and a translator from usb to type c(although i have already brought) but they are really considerable! love! And it makes my mac run properly! Hope it can have a good charging speed because i have not tried yet!

Works well with 2017 MacBook Pro. Delivers power well. No issues so far.The unit can be used with 110V or 220V, and it even has the Apple style detachable prongs. I bought it to use it in one place, so I cannot speak to the durability of the product, but if it's durable, it must make a great adapter to travel with.The unit shows up as a 55W adapter in the macOS system report. For most people, this is probably good enough, but when there is high workload, your laptop will take a very long time to charge. For example, I just edited some videos and macOS is estimating that it will take 7 hours to go from 65% to 100%.I think I am supposed to get a little USB adapter as a bonus, but that wasn't included in my package. Not a big deal, as I already have a few at home.Overall, I would recommend this product.

It is a nightmare for me to purchase this product. I used this charger right after I received it. I leave it in my office. After first time I used this charger in my office, I used my original charger at home over night and found my battery could not be charged. My battery drop to 27% in the morning. I brought my MacBook Pro to office and try this charger again. My macbook’s battery cannot be charged anymore no matter this charger or Apple original. Now, I have to spend $500 ish to change my battery or even more...DONT buy this charger. If possible I would like to ask this supplier to compensate my lost. I saw several customers purchased this product had same complaint! Why Amazon still sell this product?!

The wattage claimed to be 61W, which is necessary for charging most of the devices listed in the description including my macbook pro. The computer wouldn't charge. Checking the computer settings showed that the charger only put out 60W. I'm sure that was an easier calculation for someone making this but it means it's just a big paperweight.Returned immediately as a result.

worked great, good value for money, but unfortunetly yesterday when i took my charger out of my computer the metal head fell right off... tried to find a way to write the company directly but couldn't find a single way of contacting them, only amazon, it was very frustrating. i was hoping i could get a new wire since this one died so early and was cleary made a bit cheaply if the glue couldnt keep the wire together...

Within hours of using this product 2 MacBook Air laptops both just a year old to stop working. First, they looked like they were charging but weren't. Then after being plugged in for less than an hour, they stopped functioning properly. Even using an Apple charger, they wouldn't charge. Eventually, they just died. Took days to get them started again after being told by repair people they were fried.
