I do wood burning, and I've seen these mentioned as being good for erasing pencil on wood. Some regular pencil erasers will leave pink marks on wood, and some just don't work very well. I've been able to draw patterns on pieces of wood, and I can use this to erase any marks remaining when I'm done. In the past, I would have to use sandpaper sometimes to remove marks. This makes life easier.

this works great for removing glue residue and colored pencils. I have not used for my alcohol markers yet.

I accidentally wrote on a photo with the wrong pen. This eraser removed the marks (not perfectly) but enough so I didn’t need to reprint the photo.

I'm happy with this purchase this is definitely a welcome addition to my set or supplies and it works extremely well my only complaint would be how it flakes away when using it & that it erases predrawn lines in my coloring books however I guess a bonus would be that I've gotten much better at drawing that line back in as long as I sharpen it and get the tip fine enough

I use these for colored pencil and inks a lot. Depending in the paper it won't erase completely but it's way better than a typical erser for those mediums

I have used this eraser with different inks, wax and oil based colored pencils as well as graphite pencils. I cannot see that it does any better than a good vinyl eraser such as Mr Pen. It is a little messier. Perhaps it may do a little better on some brand of pencil or paper that I have not used it on. Update - Now that I have had it for a while. It will remove ballpoint ink and some of the cheaper permanent markers that I have tried it on. With the better markers like Sharpie and Staedtler. I can only remove them when grinding most of the paper away. I am glad that I have it. Never know when this might come in handy.
