I have an alternative method for cleaning glass (and some metal/ceramic) pipes, carbs, etc.I keep a medium-sized prescription bottle (cap not child-proof) about 2/3 - 3/4 full with rubbing alcohol.I soak the pipe in the alcohol for a few hours - overnight for really dirty ones.Rinse the pipe with hot water, using Q-tips and pipe cleaners.* I tend to not scrub the bowl completely, since some resin helps seat the screen in a glass bowl.
