2019 Best Kitchen Cool Gadget Potato Chips French Fries cutter and Veggie sticks slicer with FREE GIFT ceramic multiuse peeler!

I was so happy when I FINALLY received my fry cutter in the mail. I used to own 1 and lost custody to an ex girlfriend. I waited 2 years for the pain to heal and the desire for homemade fries returned to my soul. I ordered it and never receieved the 1st order. Placed a replacement order, which was successful. I opened my door and saw the package smiling at me and knew Ice Cube was right. Today was in fact a good day. I drove to the store bought a pack of potatoes and beer. Sunday was going to be epic. I made it home, cleaned the cutter and potatoes. My heart was full and tears of absolute joy were streaming down my cheeks. I placed the potato on the cutter, put cover over and pushed, it was hard to push, so I added more power. A loud snap changed my world. My brand new fry cutter (that felt like I went through a quest to obtain) broke the very 1st time I used it. Its kinda like a metaphor about my heart and spirit right now. I am very disappointed with this item.

It works great for making the perfect French fries and it also cuts many other vegetables. Easy to clean but alittle hard to use on certain vegetables.

The first time I used this "gadget" the blades broke. It is extremely hard to force a potato through the blades. With pressure from the base of my hand trying to cut the potato into fries, the blades bent and the unit was worthless - I was really looking forward to having this French fry cutter, but this "gadget" is something that SHOULD be sold in the dollar store.

it does good but not great , but cutting area needs to be it's own piece for easy cleanup.

This comes with no instructions and is not that simple to use. If you do use this use small potatoes or cut the big ones in half and make sure the potato doesn’t curve or you’re screwed. The insert part that helps push the potato through came out. Again this didn’t come with instructions which would’ve been helpful instead of letting customers sink or swim. I’ll definitely be returning this. First use today and it broke.

Cuts pretty good, you have to put the potato in the center of the cutter for it to work correctly.

This fries maker's blades separated and fell out the first time I used it. So disappointing because never had a problem with an Amazon purchase ever before! So poorly made and functioned so badly that I just threw it away. Bad experience...

I bought this item specifically to cube butter, which it does very well. It cuts the stick of butter into strips like french fries, which I then cut crosswise with a knife to make the cubes. I think if the manufacturer put an insert of slicing wires/blades into one of the sides, it would improve this sturdy gadget even more. Having the option to cube potatoes, fruit, cheese, and even butter would be highly useful. But for just the way this gadget is, I'm very pleased with its performance, ease of use, ease of cleanup (just pop into the dishwasher), and sturdy construction.
