Life Is Better At The Campsite Spare Tire Cover

Looks great and made to last and fits perfect, great product

Great travel trailer spare tire cover for around $20. No matter which brand you buy, if it's exposed to direct sunlight, you'll need a new one of these every 12-18 months. My last one was the ADCO. For similar money, the CAMCO is better quality. But their marketing photos are horrible. My measurements were between two sizes, and I'm glad I chose the smaller one. I don't care about covering the back of the tire next to the trailer. I care about how it looks on the RV. The black band on the smaller cover I ordered is below the top of the tire along the tread corner. The cover still had ample stretch to cover the top of tire, but didn't have that dimpled look shown in the photos. By the time we reached the campsite, it had warmed to take out the wrinkles, fit snug to the tire and looked great.

Pros: Inexpensive, protects tire from elements (outside storage), looks good (new), fits much better than other brand I tried. Cons: Wore out in only two years - disintegrated. Have to use strap to keep it from flying off (due to mounting location - wind/towing inflates it). I purchased another one because the pros outweigh the cons. Don't expect it to last more than 2-3 years if it covers an outdoor tire. Recommend. Update 4/8/25: Well, lost another one. Sucker flew off even with the strap attached. Guess I'll need TWO straps next time. lol.

Love this travel trailer spare tire cover! Looks great!

I have a boat trailer with 14" tires, and was not sure how this would fit. It fits perfectly! The material is quality, inside padding very nice, and the bungee cord closure on the reverse side holds this cover very securely on various size tires. As my tire is smaller, the bungee cord side is nicely covered also. This works well for a boat trailer, due to the tire being exposed on both sides. Larger tires on campers, SUVs, and the like, do not need this coverage on the vehicle side, so this cover works great for them too. Made to last!

I measured the spare tire, ordered the corresponding size, and the cover arrived in 24 hours. The quality seems OK and fit the tire properly. Will it hold up out in the sun? It replaced a three year old cover that was due for replacement. If it lasts that long I will be happy.

Product itself is fine. I ordered the white as I thought it would match better on my trailer. They ended up sending me the black one. I can see how it could happen - the picture on the box shows the white version. However, there is a little key on the back of the box where they mark the size and color (so they can use the same box across multiple SKUs). I know I could exchange it but don't feel like the hassle.

I'm sure the RV dealers hate this cover because they can't beat the price. It seems to be just as good (if not better) as the one that came with our trailer. It fit perfect without a fuss or having to stretch it over the tire. We are pleased with it.
