Tritan Narrow Mouth BPA-Free Water Bottle, Gray, 16 oz

This is my primary water bottle, and it is in use constantly. No objectional flavors imparted on the water. After a bit, the bottle needs cleaning. With the narrow mouth, the bottle is not that easy to clean effectively. To that end, I use citric acid powder (about a teaspoon dissolved in a full bottle of water). I let it sit with the citric acid solution for several hours and then thoroughly rinse. This is an effective antimicrobial cleaning method.

If you're in the market for a plastic waterbottle, Nalgene is a great brand. They're very tough, they seal tight (especially the narrow mouth variety), and they have useful measurement markings. Why should you buy the 16oz size in particular? * Comfortable in the hand * Unlikely to tip over * Adds little weight to your bag (or hand) It's really nice to have a small water bottle for all the times when more bottle would just get in the way. As long as you have water fountains or potable, palatable taps around, why carry more? Like any Nalgene water bottle, the external plastic is prone to dulling over time, reducing the transparency and shine of the bottle. Wear would be less apparent with an opaque bottle. The measurement markings also wear off. Short of extreme trauma, the only thing that can break on a Nalgene is the plastic loop connecting the top to the bottle. It's quite tough, but on larger bottles can break when the full bottle is routinely carried by the loop. With a smaller bottle, this is less likely. Why you should not buy this product: * You need a supply of water that lasts more than a few hours without refilling. * You want a non-plastic bottle. * You want an opaque bottle. Health note: Nalgene bottles, like most reusable plastic bottles today, are BPA-free. We probably don't know as much about the chemicals used to replace BPA as we do about BPA itself, though. (Note: I purchased this bottle in 2016. I am not aware of any subsequent changes in manufacturing, if any.)

What can I say about Nalgene? For the last 2 decades I’ve loved their product, cheap- light and sturdy. Totally leak proof and ready for adventure. I’ve owned almost everyone of their products over the years and the reason I chose the 16oz barrow mouthed version is for a couple reason. 1. It was the right size- fits in a new backpack and light 2. My wife kept complaining that my old bottle was too hard to drink out of in the car or on the go 3. Nalgenes are just the best- excellent design Now it’s Definitely harder to clean that the open mouthed and more difficult to put ice inside but that’s physics for ya-

Needed a water bottle that would fit in my lunch cooler and yet hold plenty of water. I looked for a looong time, and finally found this which is perfect. The water bottle is sturdy, and the plastic feels high-quality. It doesn't feel like that brittle plastic that will shatter if you drop it (though I don't plan to test it) and it doesn't feel like bendy plastic that you can practically mold with your fingernails. Plastic straps like the one that holds this cap on typically get on my nerves, and I was planning to cut it off upon its arrival, but when I tried it out I changed my mind. It is long enough that you can just fold it back against the bottle and hold it there as you grip the bottle. And it feels strong, not like something that will snap. Sturdy, high-quality, fits those weird specifications you need but can't seem to find anywhere else. That's what I like in a product.

Used this bottle for over a year and have to say it's great! It seriously never leaks so I can just toss it into my backpack without worry. The plastic attached to the cap is great, so I never lose the cap. I like the 1-Pint size since for me it is the perfect amount--a full isn't bottle too heavy and holds enough enough water for my daily trips (school, biking, etc). Unlike aluminum bottles that I was using before this one, this can handle acidic drinks like orange juice and lemonade, and refrigerating it makes for nice cool drinks. The narrow mouth is great for avoiding spills. It is a thick sturdy plastic that is BPA-free and easy to clean. Highly recommended!

nice water bottle but they only last me for around 4 months until it starts to leek but I do use them every day

Small bottle for the gym. Keeps me hydrated. Not big and bulky. Fits in my gym bag easily. Hard plastic protects from falls and bashing. Get a grey or clear, you really need to see what you are putting into your body. Contaminated water is no joke. Be it from dirty water, mold, or mildew in your bottle. Holds enough to hydrate yourself, while maintaining your heart rate in the gym. Fill up between sets. I have a large bottle and it gets combersome to put away. This small one can be tossed in your bag or clipped to a carbener.

High quality, big mouth bottle. Easy to clean, not too big to carry in a bag. Pair it with a thermal / neoprene cover to keep it cold and for travel.

La utilizzo sui palchi mentre suono per avere una riserva d'acqua durante gli spettacoli. Per lo scopo, il grigio fumè l'ho trovato il colore più adatto; inoltre, con quell'aspetto da contenitore da piccolo chimico, pur mimetizzandosi bene tra cavetti e amplificatori, fa la sua ottima figura. Plastica rigida e non deformabile, tappo a vite a tenuta stagna con laccetto di sicurezza. Imboccatura comoda, larga abbastanza per far passare una buona quantità di liquido, ma non esagerata da rischiare di rovesciarselo addosso accidentalmente mentre si beve. Vantaggio notevole rispetto ad altre borracce è che questa non altera assolutamente il sapore dell'acqua. Dopo 2 anni di utilizzo frequente, qualità sempre eccellente della borraccia. Dimenticata in un pub di Irkutsk in Siberia durante un viaggio, subito ricomprata identica.

I am someone who is continually involved in outdoor activity pursuits. Over the years I have had loads of water bottles. Some that leaked, some that didn't. Some that were bpa free, others that weren't. Some that broke, while others didn't, and so on and so forth. This bottle was different though. It had everything I wanted in a bottle. I deliberately picked the half litre size, as I wanted to see what the quality of the bottle was like. I haven't been disappointed, and I will most likely give this bottle to my son for school, and also purchase one 500 ml bottle for my daughter. I will then purchase a 1 litre bottle for myself. I consciously read the reviews online for the 'best quality water bottle' and I saw 'Nalgene' coming up quite frequently. I had heard the name in the past, but never tried the brand before. So what's to like about this bottle - Well, in short, everything. Firstly, it is solidly built, and I can never see it breaking, even in extreme conditions. It doesn't leak, even after I turned it upside down in my rucksack for a couple of hours while travelling through country roads. The bottle is very portable, and easily fitted into my rucksack. It is extremely light and it' easy to hold (even for children when fully filled). The distinctive colouring means it's always conspicuous despite Its compact size. I found it very easy to drink from too, as the mouth is narrow. I'll admit I've dropped the bottle more than once, but the sturdy construction, ensures, there are no detrimental effects experienced. The clear marks ensures that the individual always knows how much liquid there is in each bottle. One other benefit, is that you never taste any plastic related residue. When it comes to washing the bottle, I found it quite simple, even though if you use washing up liquid, it takes quite a bit of water to dissipate the liquid completely. The dishwasher though, is the best option for washing these bottles thoroughly. This is by far and away the best bottle I have ever bought, and as aforementioned I will be purchaing another 500ml bottle for my daughter and a 1 Litre bottle for myself.

This has got to be my favourite water bottle I have ever gotten. The plastic is very strong and can take multiple drops. I have dropped this bottle a few times and it barely leaves a mark. It sometimes might scratch a bit, but it never breaks. I love the fact that this bottle doesn't leave your water with the plastic water taste. The water actually tastes like water. It can hold quite a bit of water and easy to store. It has never leaked on me before in any of my bags. I love that you can even put this in the dishwasher to give it a nice deep clean. I have had this bottle for many years and it is still working like a charm. Worth every penny.

Perfecto para hidratarse constantemente, solo para salir si es muy poca capacidad yo tengo un garrafón de 4 litros y lo voy llenando y ayuda a estar tomando mas seguido, aparte de la calidad que nalgene maneja con sus productos.

長らく広口+シッパーを使っていたがようやく適価になったのでこちらに変更。 高価で管理も煩わしいシッパー不要。 空で置いてもすぐ倒れる広口に比べ太身で安定。その分ポーチ等の中で少し場所をとる。 抜群の耐久性。 キャップは細口1Lと共用。 好きな色を好きな時に何時でも納得の価格で購入出来る様になれば完璧。
