Awesome - fun & practical transport
Moved into a 3rd floor apartment, so bike wasn’t as simple to get out of the apartment & just take off on anymore. Enter the household scooter. Unfolds quick & easy, folds quick & easy, mechanism keeps it folded/unfolded until you switch mechanism, light to carry, not very awkward to carry at all, plus easy to just pick up & carry across gravelly areas. Pretty good on rough pavement or sidewalk cracks & gaps. No problem getting on/off train or bus. The “brake” is really just using your weight to bend part of the footboard into contact with the back wheel to provide friction - not very much friction, though, as they’re both smooth surfaces with no tread or bite. This means that the braking action isn’t anywhere near as quick as, say, a bike brake, and it can also get pretty hot pretty fast if you’re on a steep hill. There is a decent tolerance in the latch mechanism, so there can be a bit of a herky-jerky to it if you yank on the handlebars. But, with these things in mind, still absolutely awesome For the price.

Trace 200 - Solid scooter, but a bit annoying to fold and steer.
I've been using this to scooter around with my little cousin, who is using a smaller scooter for kids. This scooter is tough, that's for sure. It can handle bumps and curbs with little issue, and the frame feels solid to hold onto and put your weight on. My only real issue is with how it folds and steers. The folding can feel a little stilted, like the joints haven't been well lubricated out of the factory. Not sure what's going on there, but a little lubricant goes a long way in making it fold smoothly. Steering is a more annoying issue; the scooter, likely due to the larger wheels, has a lot "tighter" steering than one would expect from, say, a Razor A1. Turning the steering feels jittery, like the wheels are actively fighting against you moving them in a certain direction. It's very noticeable if you lift the front wheel off the ground and try to turn it, you'll immediately notice the resistance. When you're actually riding, it's less annoying, but it does make turning significantly more difficult than a smaller wheel alternative. Maybe trying to use lubricant on this may fix the issue. Regardless, if you want a cheap scooter that can handle the bumps of commuter-level riding, this will do.

Nice quality but NOT for teens or adults!
This scooter is adorable and well-made but I wish it was advertised correctly because I bought it thinking it would be big enough for a small adult like myself. I am only 5'5 and the handle bars are significantly too short for my comfort. This is a children's scooter that will likely be too small for anyone over 12. You can adjust the handle bars a lot so it would be a nice product for a growing kid, but it still doesn't go up nearly far enough for a teen or an adult to use. It has LED light-up wheels and comes already put together which is nice and very giftable. If you're looking for a children's scooter, this is an affordable and high-quality option that will likely last years. If you're looking for a teen or adult scooter, you need to keep looking.

Best affordable kick scooter for adults
My husband and I love this scooter. I picked the 180 because it had a higher weight limit and taller handle bar settings. I'm glad I did because my husband loves using this too. We use it to keep up with our daughter who has recently taken to biking. My husband and I don't love to bike or even own bikes. We can keep pace with her on this quick little number. This scooter is affordable and sturdy. We have taken it on 4 mile bike/scooter rides and haven't had any trouble with durability or handling. I am 5' 7" and I actually use the middle of the three height settings for the handlebars. My husband doesn't adjust it up and he is 5' 10". I suppose it is a little noisy, but I think the razor scooter I had as a kid was exactly as noisy. I got the 180 because the 120 didn't have as tall of a handlebar setting. Now I know that we could have gotten away with the 120 for handlebar height. The 180 has a sturdy frame and a nice long deck to put your whole foot on and still have room for your other foot to use the wheel brake. I like the nice tall wheels that allow me to traverse all types of sidewalks. I wasn't brave enough to try them over the rail road tracks. No trouble to walk it across though.

Awesome adult scooter
I had recently purchased mongoose force 2.0 scooters for my three girls (ages 5 and under). They are awesome, and super sturdy. I couldn’t resist jumping on one and taking a ride. It was so fun! Anyway, it occurred to get myself a scooter so I could scoot with my kids, instead of just standing there when they’re out. So, I’m 5’ 10” and extra “fluffy”. I was looking for a scooter that would accommodate my weight, and I am way over on most :( I finally just bit the bullet and got this one. The little mongooses we got for the kids were so nice and sturdy, I figured this one would be a good bet and the price was great. It’s big enough for a large adult and seems very well made. I am over on the weight, but so far I’ve been scooting with no issues. I’m not doing anything crazy with it, like hopping it or anything like that (I read some reviews people snapped theirs doing that), just scooting with my kids. I love it! They love it! It’s a nice way to spend time with my girls.

The product arrived as described. I was trying to fit this product in a suitcase so I needed very specific dimensions. The companies customer service was very helpful with prompt answers. The product was delivered on time and seems to be very sturdy. I am extremely pleased with the quality. It should provide hours of fun for the child it was bought for.

Very sturdy deck, nice folding mechanism, east to adjust the handlebar height. A good size for both my 6 and 9 year old with room to grow as well. Happy with the value for this price I paid.
