Q: I am a uk size 9 should I order 6-9 or 9-11

That’s a tough one Elaine. I’m a 10 and the 9-11 are an okay fit but might be a bit tight on a person with an 11! My feet are quite wide so maybe that’s why the 9-11 are okay. They’re excellent for walking / hiking by the way. If it was me I’d go for the 9-11 just in case 👍

Q: Are these socks double layered?

No. But they're the best walking socks I've ever owned (totally rub free and warm). On the back of my first three pack, I bought a second pack for myself and a pack for my wife. I even bought some for my 88 year old mother to wear around the house, as she struggles with painfully poor circulation. They've helped her no end.
