Works As Described
Every summer, I've been fighting weed-growth through my asphalt and street-side curb. Tried latex and acrylics in the past, which were fine for one season, after which they failed. This promises to be a more permanent solution. First thing ... if you use a propane cannister with a regular torch-head, you will have problems. That's because tilting the cannister more than 60 degrees will cause flares, and the flame will lose focus. The torch-head can also fail from this (as mine did). A propane flame can work, if you have the right apparatus. My solution? A heat gun. Worked beautifully. Only one thing to note. Because the material arrives in a coil, you have to apply in short (1-5 inch), straight lengths to ensure proper layout in your target area. Once I figured all this out, the material performed perfectly, and I quickly (2 days - 5 hours total) filled all the trouble areas with what appears to be a permanent bond. The product is pricey for what it is, but the price here compared favorably with the competition. We'll see how the repair looks after one year. At the moment, it is tighter than anything I've ever tried in the past.

Adheres the best and didn't crack after 1 winter
I ordered a double-set of this 1/4" 2x. I also ordered a 1/2" small pail. They both adhere well to my asphalt driveway and concrete curbs and didn't crack after one winter. Adheres the best of several products I tried including acrylic tubes. After 1 winter the acrylic I applied has a single small crack running lengthwise in most of the cracks I filled. Not so for the PLI-Stix. I did find that the 1/4 inch was sufficient for most cracks and it melts faster than the 1/2 inch so uses less propane. I also like both sizes in that as long as the already treated crack surfaces are cleaned you can layer it by adding more new strips and heating/reheating this material in the cracks even after several months. In many cases I also cut these strips into small segments of an inch or less in many of the smaller cracks and it spreads out and runs down into the cracks. Note, it cuts more easily after leaving in the sun for 20 or more minutes. It's a lot of work if you have many cracks but I knew that going-in after reading reviews. I'm happy with it so far after almost a year and 1 winter.

Easy to use and works good! Dries VERY GLOSSY though
The product is easy to cut and I had good success using a rubber mallet to drive it into larger cracks before melting. It melts easily and does what it says. The only disappointment is that it dries VERY GLOSSY. Where I've used it, it looks like water running across my driveway from far away. I'm looking to see if I can put some sand or texture on it to reduce the glare. I'm sure it will look fine after my next full driveway sealing. I cannot comment on the longevity at this point.

Cheap and easy fix
Supposedly the best asphalt crack sealer. Didn't get to tey it but I've seen it used brfore and it does a good job. Posted some higher resolution pictures of the product. Cheaper than the hardware store buckets of sealer. I'll be using the coleman propane tanks, far cheaper than the small blue tanks. I will try to update this after use, too much rain at the moment.

No mess, tedious application
Seemed like a good idea and probably is for some applications, but it was quicker to just get a jug of liquid patch.

Finally found something to stop my leaks.
I have tried a variety of caulks and silicones, and finally found something to stop the leaks. We have a driveway around the building with a parking garage below. I've been battling leaks into the garage for several years, and then found this. Originally I bought some to fill the cracks in some asphalt, then decided to try it on the concrete. The cracks are now sealed and the leaks have stopped. Only time will tell how well this holds up across the seasons. I'm hopeful that it will not crack and start leaking again the way the caulk did. The ONLY downside for me is that I can't make a cleaner installation... using a propane torch, the bead tend to coil and twist when heated, giving me and uneven and somewhat unsightly bead over the cracks. I can live with that since the leaks are stopped, but a cleaner look would have been nice around the commercial building.

Time consuming but works well
What a job. I had about 600' of cracks I had to fill. I experimented with several methods to install. Finally I found on that worked. I would unroll about 16" of roll and cut it. The remainder I unrolled in a straight line on the lawn. The sun was hot enough to straighten but not hot enough to cause it to stick. Going back to the piece I would sit in a chair under a 10x10 cover and heat the end of the line until it was nearly melted. Drop the line into the crack and heat the next 3" and drop into the crack and keep it going until the last 4 or 5". I then laid the cool remainder down over the crack and heated it. I would have to move the propane torch over the partially melted line of sealer until it all melted into the crack. I found filling the (Previously cleaned crack) with sand to within 1/4" of the top was a great base for the sealer. Trying to fill the entire crack with this rope material would take ages and be extremely expensive. VERY time consuming. Once the initial job was done I expect the subsequent summers would be much easier because I'll keep up on the cracks as they happen.

Better than the liquid stuff.
Seems better than the stuff I usually use in a bottle. I feel taking your time to heat, and leave some extra on top for expansion and contraction will do well.

Works a heck of a lot better than the liquid acrylic products. I just laid it out over the cracks and pressed it in. I set up the torch as per the instructions. Then I let the blue flame gently melt the tube. Before you know it I was done the entire driveway. I highly recommend using this product. I have no negative things to say in regards to the product.

Sealed out cracks and ants can't back through. Will see how it holds up over winter but so far so good.

I ordered 3 x 2 packs (6 x 60’ in total) of this product at around $59 per pack. When I got the order there were only 5 x 60’ in the box. Got a refund for 1 pack and went to order the product again as I needed all 6 packs. It’s now $67 per pack. Kinda sucks I have to pay more and shipping again. The product itself is good. I’ve used it before. 4⭐️ for product 1⭐️ for short order delivered and no option to have the missing one sent.
