Longman Preparation Course for the TOEFL Test: The Paper Test (Student Book with Answer Key and CD-ROM)

I love this book , this book is preparing you to be successful in your toefl test, 100% recomment you. I took a toefl course in my country and we used this book for practing. This book is very helpful because it teaches you the lisening section, grammar section, and reading section.

Have been preparing students for the paper-based TOEFL with this book for years. Idioms in Listening Section Part A are a bit out of date.

This book could be the best reffernce for TOEFL (paper test), if the Audio CDs were accompanied. However, I am so satisfied with it because it contains all the test matterials with detailed explanation.

It's the first time I purchase a used book, but wow it's really good and the price is good too, I'm so happy！！！

This book is very helpful, but the CD doesn't provide you with the listening section. You will have to either cut or photograph the conversation from the back and have someone to read it for you. My teacher and her husband recorded the conversation for me, which is very helpful too! The recorded conversations is sold separately, and it is not cheap, so I didn't buy it. Plus, it more difficult to find it than to find two people to record it. Other than the missing conversation, this book does teach you to ace TOEFL'''''''''''s many tips on how you should approach a question. After all, I would recommend this book!

This is a great book for the paper-based TOEFL test. But if you want to take a computer-based one, don't choose this book.

To my amazment, the CD which contains listening practices in the main text of the book is not provided with the book. A CD accompanies the book but it contains practices different from those included in the book. You should buy the CDs which include the listening practices in the book separately. Disappointing;

Parfait, c'est ce que j'ai commander. Pas de problèmes à noter, je n'ai pas utiliser le CD donc je ne peux pas juger de sa fonctionnalité. Livre très utile pour se préparer au TOEFL (j'ai eu près de 160 à l'examen grâce à lui, merci!). Je recommande même si le prix est un peu élevé, il les vaut tout de même.

ある程度日本語のテキストを習得したら、いち早くこのテキストを始める事をお勧めします！初めは英語のみに戸惑うかもしれませんが、それが壁を乗り越える時です！このテキストでスコアが、かなり伸び目標スコアを取ることができました。もっと早くから始めるべきだったと時間の後悔をしている程です。
