Monopod is light and easy to use
However removing it from the tripod is a bit cumbersome and isn't as intuitive as you would think. This pod-hybrid is excellent for DSLR's like the Canon EOS series but for heavier cameras like the Canon 5D I suggest looking into a sturdier option. But for those with minimal needs and just can't keep your hands steady, this product is a great option and certainly for the price. My only other gripe is that it comes with a carrying bag but not all the pieces fit in there easily. It takes some puzzle work.

attachment plate is funky and a bit fussy to get locked in. Otherwise, works as expected with my video camera.

Good tripod
Love the monopod option, good quality, good price, all joints hold firm. Nice bag that perfectly attaches to the bottom of my backpack, head doesn't have alot of features but that can be replaced if you need something more.

WORKING GREAT! :D
This monopod/tripod is awesome and just what I needed :D I do alot of filmes and tested the monopod for filming on my canon 550D today and it looked great :D with a little imagination the monopod is extremly useful! I did struggle a bit figuring out how to transform it, but quickly managed to do what I wanted and now it is very easy.NOTE: This is my first monopod so i can't really compare it to others, but for me it works great! The tripod also work very fine it is simple and not too heavy so it is perfect for me :D The little bag it comes in is very good too. This is very simple, but the legs are a bit too thin in the end sometimes, but this doesnt really bother me xDWorth buying if you are not an amature and not a proffessional but in the middle like me haha :D- Marie-Louise Wahl Østmo

Really nice but complicated
Very nice and versatile but somewhat complicated compared to my past tripods.

Sturdy and inexpensive tripod
I found this duo flex tripod/monopod a very strong built and stable tripod. It also has a hook in the middle if you want to stabilize it more in windy weather. The tripod-monopod switch is easy but you need to carry the separate adaptor with you to make it into a monopod. Overall I found this a very useful product for photo enthusiasts.

Quality Product, Bad Bag
Overall, the tripod works really well, as does the monopod. It's a nice tripod, sturdy, and the quality is good. There are no instructions in the box, but there is an easy tutorial on the side of the actual box itself. It took maybe 5 minutes to arrange it into various configurations and figure out how to attach the camera securely; although it does take a moment to assure all three legs are level for portraits. It does have a hook for the camera bag which is handy, however, I have not tried the feature out as of yet. The bag is so-so. It could use just 1" more of space in it to zip properly. The tripod and accessories for the monopod option fit in there too snug, and when I was zipping the bag it felt like it was going to rip open even after trying out a few various ways of putting it all into the bag. In addition, the zipper pulls are made of a soft metal and were bending as the bag was being zipped. Overall, I like the fact that the bag is compact and easy to transport. The material it is made of seems sturdy, however, I am worried it will not last long due to the snug fit, the zipper is going to go out eventually or the pulls are going to break.
