WICKEDWTG-003 Combo Pack Includes Tough Saw & Tree Pack, Black

I JUST USED THIS SAW FOR THE FIRST TIME THE OTHER DAY. FIRST, IT CUTS GREAT - BUT I REALLY CANT SEE THE DIFFERENCE IT CUTS COMPARED TO MY OTHER SAWS, WHICH ONE IS A GERBER, AND THE OTHER IS A CHEAP-O THAT I BOUGHT OVER 20 YEARS AGO. I HAVE THESE SAWS FOR CUTTING BRANCHES / SHOOTING LANES DURING THE ARCHERY SEASON, AS I HUNT IN 2 STATES AND HAVE A NEED FOR A GOOD SAW. THIS SAW IS DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHERS I OWN, AND HERE IS WHY: ONE - THE BLADE LOCKS INTO PLACE AND IS VERY STURDY, UNLIKE MY CHEAP O SAW WHICH USES A METAL HASP TO LOCK AND SEEMS TO ALWAYS COME UNDONE. MY GERBER LOCKS INTO PLACE AS WELL, HOWEVER THE BUTTON ON IT CAN BE "TEMPERMENTAL". TWO - THE HOLSTER TO THIS SAW IS FANTASTIC! ONE THE SAW IS OPENED, IT CAN BE PLACED BACK INTO THE HOLSTER SECURELY WITH THE BLADE STILL BEING OPEN, WHICH IS A GREAT BENIFIT WHEN YOUR CLIMBING TREES AND CUTTING AS YOU GO. MY GERBER SAW HAS A HOLSTER, BUT THE BLADE HAS TO BE CLOSED TO FIT BACK INSIDE OF IT, AND MY CHEAP-O HAS NOTHING! THREE - JUST BEFORE I GOT THIS SAW I WAS USING MY CHEAP-O ON THE GROUND CUTTING BRANCHES IN THE BRUSH TO CLEAR DEER TRAILS. I KEPT IT IN MY PANTS CARGO POCKET WHEN I WAS NOT USING IT, AND EVENTUALLY LOST IT AND SPENT 1 1/2 HOURS LOOKING FOR IT BEFORE I FOUND IT. WITH THIS SAW, I KNEW THAT IT WAS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN, AND OF COURSE THE FIRST TIME I USED IT, IT STAYED SECURE IN THE HOLSTER AND WAS READY FOR USE WHEN I NEEDED IT. OVERALL I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE, HOWEVER I DO BELIEVE THAT THE COMBO IS A BIT PRICEY (SAW AND HOLSTER), WHICH IS THE ONLY REASON THAT I AM GIVING IT 4 STARS. OTHERWISE, IT IS VERY WELL BUILT AND STURDY, MUCH SO MORE THAN THE OTHER ONES THAT I HAVE. I PURCHASED THEIR "12 FOOT WICKED POLE SAW", WHICH IS ALSO MADE IN AMERICA AND PRICEY - BUT TO ME IT WAS WORTH IT. JUST WISH THEY WERE A BIT MORE AFFORDABLE, CAUSE NOW ALL MY BUDDIES WANT TO BORROW THEM!

This saw is hands down the best pruning saw I've ever used. I appreciate the excellent formed-grip and that the handle is all metal, not plastic or even half plastic, so you can be really rough with it and not worry about anything breaking. The blade does have some flex that is needed, but it's not flimsy by any means, and the locking mechanism works perfectly every time. What I love most about this saw is the scabbard that can hold it while it's open or closed; that makes this so nice to carry. I am working on creating a food forest and orchard, and this and a pair of pruning shears are my most used tools. My only complaint is that if you want to get this saw in yellow, then you have to buy the "bone" saw version and then buy the additional tree saw blade and switch it out, so it adds about $20 to the purchase. I bought the black to save money, but really wanted the yellow because sometimes I'll drop it on the ground and it's easier to see when it's yellow. Other than that, you'll be very happy with your saw; you really can't go wrong.

I used this flip-saw twice. First time, it worked great. After use, flipped saw into its storage position, ready for its next use. The second time it was used, flipped saw into its storage position and it would not extend out again. Tried removing the screws and reseating the saw. That did not work either. It's useless. This happened well after the return and warranty time.

Great tool. I don't like the snap, keeps coming loose, but the saw remains snug in the case otherwise. The saw is sharp and cuts through anything tree limb quickly. A must for hunters or outdoorsman.

The saw worked well setting up the tree stand, able to cut the smaller branches with ease. The snap on the case broke on the first time out, so I had to use in open mode.

This was for my Boyfriend, hunting - he seems to like it. Arrived in a remote location as promised on time, nice job.

This is the real deal. The guys at wicked got it right in every aspect. They are obviously hunters themselves. This thing is awesome. BIENG able to holster it with it still open is ingenious!!! And talk about built tough!!! You don't have to worry about this breaking even if you run it over.

This is a great little saw for cutting limbs for your deer stand

Comfortable handle, locks nicely and fits snuggly in case. Disappointed the blade is not made in North America, have not tried in the field yet to test it’s durability.
