I've been eyeing this board since I saw it many years ago on Kickstarter. So I was very happy to discover couple of month ago that I can buy it on Amazon without having to pay import tax from the US on it. It is very expensive so I was not able to justify the cost to myself for a long time. Recently I started having lower back pains despite a highly ergonomic chair, electronic height adjustable table and changing from sitting to standing every 20 minutes. I discovered my glutes are not active from many years of sedentary job so I wasn't standing properly. So I thought a balance board could solve that. I thought I won't be able to stand on it without activating my glutes. And I was right! I saw massive improvement in just a week of using the board for only ~1-2h a day. Now I activate my glutes even when not standing on the board and my back aches way less. Another thing not mentioned in the listing is that the board comes with a nice string backpack and the challenge cap which makes the board way more challenging. Cons? It is expensive and the surface is slippery and my feet hurt from standing on the boards hard surface (as they would on any hard surface). Slippers help a bit.

This balance board is great. Recommended to me by a friend in the US whose only complaint was the price that he paid for it. But I picked it up in the boxing day sales at a price I was very happy with (not least because it was less than my friend paid :-) ) This is a great product. Solid, well made and does exactly what it says. No-fuss! I find that it best for me just after lunch - especially when I have a long Skype call to participate in. Keeps me active and engaged. Love it.

Love it! Had a cheap plastic wobble board and wanted something better for my standing desk. I researched and although expensive this seemed to be the best, and it’s brilliant! One week in and I enjoy standing at my desk, it’s so well designed it feels like you are balancing on air. My steps and standing time have doubled and my ankles, knees and hips all feel great. Highly recommend!

I bought this to have greater mobility when using my standing Desk at work after a procedure on my leg and then to use thereafter. It's a good size, seemingly built to last and super easy to get used to and perform a variety of movements on including twisting and... more extravagant "tricks" when bored :) Deducting one star as this cost £225 and the finish on the visible bits of the metal base and one edge of the wooden deck were visibly rough - nothing just a few minutes of prep wouldn't have sorted before coating for the base, varnishing for the deck.

One day into using my amazing new board, I already parked up my not so amazing new desk chair. I used the board all day, for hours, without sitting down for even one minute. When I sat down at dinner, it felt like it should - a relief. It was fantastic. The next day I woke up with a left foot so painful and swollen, I could barely walk. It was clear the constant leaning on the front of my foot, especially the big toe, was not a natural pose. Don’t do that, be mindful, distribute your weight on the whole of your sole. Still, I persisted and stood all day on my board again. The thought of sitting down at the desk again was more uncomfortable than the thought of bearing through the pain. Fourth day, still on my board from dawn til dusk, almost pain free, but completely addicted. So, with this board, choose between hip or knee replacement in your 80s from a life of being bound to a chair or pain foot for a few days. Or: you could also choose to actually follow what the manufacturer recommends in the instructions: use it for 20% of the time to start with and just be completely pain free. Please make this cheaper as an ethical duty to humankind.

I have three different wobble boards and the other two are much more challenging. This one has a lower centre of gravity but that makes it much easier for use with my standing desk. It actually makes the standing desk a real pleasure to use for extended periods.

Very disappointing, feels like it might be a second. The promotional material states it’s made from “premium materials” and “meticulously crafted”. Pretty surprised to see a poor quality patch in the ply (see the photo). I’ve not seen this on £30 skate decks before, let alone on a ply product that costs this much. I contacted them about it 2 weeks ago and still no reply. So don’t expect any help if you have any issues with it. Avoid and look elsewhere, plenty of alternatives to pick from.

I waited a long time to buy this. I saw it when it was being crowdfunded, and didn’t take the plunge. I wish I had. First, this is such a well-made balance board. The materials are top quality and the construction is flawless. Second, I can’t put a treadmill at my home office desk, but I hate the loss of activity. Pre-pandemic, I had meetings all over downtown. Now, I’m in videocalls all day. This allows me to keep moving without a treadmill. I feel my muscles engaging all day. It’s fantastic! Finally, it may seem expensive, but for the quality and versatility, it makes perfect sense. I literally sit at my desk for maybe 30 minutes a day now. If you are hesitating like I was, don’t. It’s totally worth it. Of course, now my $800 ergonomic chair feels a little unnecessary. Oh well!

I received my FluidStream yesterday, and used it as recommended for 2-hours to start, yesterday and again today. I work from home 95% of the time, and own a stand-up desk. What impressed me was the build quality of the item, and how it is finished. My feet, legs, glutes and abs activate when standing on the balance board. I think it would be much harder to maintain one's balance on a solid surface floor, but my office is carpeted and I don't find it moves around much or 'wanders' while I work. I don't currently have pain in my lower back, abs or legs, so I only gave the board a neutral rating for pain relief -- this is not a criticism, rather just not my experience so difficult to accurately asses the board's ability to relieve pain. Recommended for sit-stand desk owners.

Just got this a few weeks ago. Built quality is very good and looks great in my office. With Covid and working from home, I’ve been having problems with my ankles from standing at my desk all day. Having this keeps them moving but also is strengthening them. I didn’t find it hard to balance on at all, but I used to snowboard so that may not be true for everyone. It comes with an attachment to make it more difficult, but haven’t tried it yet, that’s next.

The board is excellent. Anyone who tries it will buy one. I would like the ‘challenge’ cup to increase range of motion. I stand on it all day - and miss it when I’ve lent it out! I can’t quantify what it does for me - but makes standing more fun.

I have never used something like this before but since I am now using a standing desk I wanted to do something to add a bit more of a "work out" to my work day. This product did the trick! Very well made and looks like it will last a long time. Really enjoy using it almost every day! I have never tried snowboarding but after using this Balance Board I might just give it a try!
