Excellent quality
I bought 13 tubes and have already painted 2 paintings, and I am very impressed with the quality of the paint. It is very smooth and easy to work with. I thought they would be a lower grade paint, due to the price at less than $6.00 for a huge 100ml tube. But in fact the quality is excellent. I recommend this paint without any hesitation. You will notice that some colors are more transparent and others more opaque. But the tube has a round sticky label with the color and it also indicates the level of transparency (3 different levels).I am very happy with the quality of this paint.

you get a LOT for you money. funny smell at first.
Maybe should be 4 STARS for the amazingly low price and nice 100ml Size Tube!!!Paint has a slightly "enamel-like" smell, vs. the normal predominant linseed oil smell,or such was my first experience with one sample tube of the Orange Yellow (probablyequivalent to Cadmium Yellow Medium "Hue" in other oil paint brands).I tried wet on wet which worked, and the paint seems like it works. Just need to evaluatewhat's up with that smell. Also for some reason, which might have been the packaging personaccidentally spilling their cheap aftershave or perfume on the tube, it had another smell to theoutside, which was super perfumy and i'm chemically sensitive, and had to wash it heavyilywith dish soap using protective rubber gloves to get the horrid cheap perfume off the tube.could have been an accident in packing for shipping.for the volume and amazingly low price, especially since it shipped free with prime,it, again, perhaps should get 4 Stars... i'll change review down the line as i continueto experiment with it and maybe try to buy one other color.i'm a professional oil painter and teacher. So i tend to need very expensive oil paint, but run low on money as do my students.

The lid completely broke
So upset with this. I have had this just over a week and the entire lid just popped off! It’s a twist cap but now that the lid itself is broken it’s really unfortunate as this oil paint will dry out very soon! Not to mention the mess it has made because of it...I had high expectations because of the amazing reviews but must admit, I am thoroughly disappointed.

Gritty
Like: It dried overnight on the canvas when thinned with odorless paint thinner. I expected it to have skinned over and hardening on the palette as well, but it was still soft. That's a nice property for paint to have. I also like the plastic tube. Metal tubes get dinged up and eventually start leaking when shipped in inadequate packaging (looking at you, Amazon).Dislike: It's gritty. I use a glass palette and I can feel the grittiness of it under the palette knife. No other paint I've ever used has felt gritty like that. It's also a little too runny. It could be argued that a bit of grittiness doesn't affect the final painting. True enough. But grittiness indicates either that the grinding of pigments was hasty and incomplete, or that some coarse filler (like sand) was added. Grittiness isn't a fall-on-your-sword fatal characteristic of paint, but it is an indicator that there were compromises made in its production. And the more I think about that the more I wonder what other compromises are in this paint that I don't know about. It's just a big red flag that there's something very wonky about its quality.I wanted to try Mont Marte paint, as it is aggressively priced and was recommended by Amazon. Nope, you whiffed on that one, Amazon.
