I've been taking Glucosamine on and off since high school (so, 16 years?). I have rather bad left knee pain from spending many years running with bad form. My favorite that I used for YEARS was Safeway's generic brand because it had Vitamin D in it. Living in the Pacific NW definitely attributes to a good vitamin D deficiency as well which can also cause bone issues. Sometime last year Safeway decided to stop selling their Glucosamine so I started the search online. After a lengthy search, I found these had the best reviews for the price on Amazon. OH BOY am I glad I chose this brand! After about a week of taking this Glucosamine, my knees (and other joints) were feeling BETTER THAN EVER. Even better than when I took Safeway's off brand. I loved it so much I told everyone about it. I have now hooked my mom, mother-in-law, AND husband on this stuff. BTW, my husband will not take ANY vitamins. He's like a big child. However he also has Rheumatoid Arthritis and SHOULD be taking a lot more vitamins than this. He too saw an improvement when I forced him to take these for at least two weeks. I told him if he didn't feel a difference than he could stop. He's now been taking these daily since mid-May, so what does that say?! :) I run triathlons, half marathons, and half Ironmans. I have never felt so good running multiple times a week (used to be able to only run once or twice per week). I recently qualified for Ironman 70.3 in St George for the second time! Some of that is how much my training has changed for the better, including my running form, however the knee pain and bad joints will never really go away. I severely injured my ankle in a horse riding accident almost 3 years ago and have had a lot of trouble with it ever since. Ive been able to walk on it for a couple years now, but it still hurts quite a bit and I have a lot of trouble with it stiffening up even though I was taking a different brand of glucosamine the whole time. About 4 months ago I switched to this brand because it has the vitamin D in it and that means I can take a few less pills a day. A couple weeks after taking this my ankle actually started feeling NORMAL! I havent had nearly as much pain or swelling since I switched to this brand. Im definitely a repeat buyer! The pills are a little big and more difficult to swallow, but all the glucosamine Ive tried has been the same way. I feel the benefits definitely outweigh any issue with the pill size.

Been taking for about a week ago and I believe it is helping (along with a few other vitamins & supplements) with pain management. The size of the tablets is VERY problematic! This morning the pill got stuck in my throat due to how big it is. It was very scary and I had to keep drinking water to get it down. I may return unless I can figure a way to cut them in half. They are too big.

I was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right knee, but as a single mom of a curious toddler, I need to be able to move quick. After taking these supplements every night with my prescribed arthritis meds and cream, I feel like my knee is a little more flexible and less stiff. My only issue is I literally have to use a pill cutter to cut these massive things into 4th just to be able to swallow them. Why do they have to be so large? If I can find these supplements in smaller form then I won't purchase these again.

I started off slow, only taking one a day. Didn't notice much difference. Decided to go up to full dose (2) and what a difference! I sit a lot for my job and getting up out of my chair was not smooth, if you know what I mean. I looked like a robot trying to stand without any oil in the joints. This has really helped and I plan on continuing to order this.
