Don't waste your money! For the amount of money i invested in these blinds, including shipping and handling, i would have thought they would last a least a couple of years. The first time the wind barely blew, the threads started coming loose and breaking. Before i knew it, i was cleaning up pieces of the plastic blinds off of the porch. They are now garbage and i have to spend even more money on better ones!! My advice would be to spend a little more on better quality and save in the long run.

I am so very disappointed by this product, which lasted all of two weeks! Within two days one of the supporting ropes broke, another few days, the other one did. It cannot stand the LEAST amount of wind, and eventually, I had pieces of white plastic from the broken shade, all over. It was not worth the $30 I paid, and I would NEVER order another one. What a total waste of money.

I bought two of these for my front porch. Great price and nice and light. They blocked out the morning sun which was exactly why I purchased them. Within the two weeks one of the blinds broke as the strings they use are very thin. Amazon sent me a replacement and now that one has broken as well, same issue. The "warranty" was only for 30 days and that passed July 2nd. The other one works great because I don't lower or raise that one. I am sure once I start using that one I will be faced with the same issue. I think Amazon should not sell these because they are of such poor quality. It is too late for me to get a refund for the broken one but other purchasers should be aware of the issue. I contacted the company and they have sent me instructions to see where the problem may exist.

These blinds are so lightweight and flimsy that they constantly come apart and need to be refitted. The fasteners that attach to the roll-up cords are so soft and flexible that they separate from their holders during the slightest breeze and each time (3 times in 2 weeks) we had to totally take down the blinds in order to fix them. I've had to reinforce them with zip ties. Not ideal. If it wasn't for the fact that my wife threw out the shipping tubes, I would have returned them. Do not buy this product!

I have since gone back and read the description, and see that I misread it. It says "outside mount" and I interpreted that to mean can "mount outside." My bad. This blind only lasted one year under the eaves of the porch. I only put it down when I was sitting outside, so it was not subject to the elements. However, immediately after installation, the cords where an issue, and it was a struggle to roll it up straight.

I like this blind as I just wanted something cheap to put on my Porch window that would help keep the cold out somewhat without using plastic. I have some coat hooks so I can put up some thin insulation. This helps as well.The Aluminum Windows always leak cold air in on my porch where my dog is and I try to keep her a little warm. This has worked perfectly and its wide and pulls up with two blind strings. Rolls right up to let the sunshine in. I didn't need a regular blind that just rolls up into a top. Its on a porch where I just need something so that when the wind blows that this will stop the cold air from coming in.

When we got the package there was no hard ware included to hang them. We had a small rain/wind storm and the blinds completely shattered all over the place. I only had it for 3 days, was not happy and would not recommend.

These are perfect for the balcony of our apt. They look nice, easy to use, and they were easy to install. Such a great price for this product.

Really works well. Great knowing we wont have mold growing on these, the resin is fantastic and wipes down in a jiffy. Note-sometimes the cord with the plastic bead attached that keeps the blinds rolled in place pops out, but we just zip tied them down. Easy peazy. Farwell sun glare on deck!!
