I only used it 3 times but I think it will last a long time.

This is my second umbrella (the first I purchased in all black). I love how this umbrella functions. I like being able to quickly open and close the button when I am entering/exiting my car or getting on/off the light rail when everyone is trying to get on the train and out of the rain. I also like that this umbrella folds out to be a bit larger than my previous ones that I purchased from Target (and whose button only opens). These umbrellas have also lasted longer than others that I have purchased in the past. I had wanted another one of these as a back-up umbrella and the pattern was too cute to pass up. I plan on eventually replacing my various umbrellas with these as I would prefer to buy quality over quantity. I keep one in my car, one at my office, another at my house, and sometimes I’m carrying one on me.

This umbrella is magical. Not only does it spring open, but it also springs closed, keeping the water off you once you're in a dry area. Its small enough to bring anywhere, and the fully open size is enough for one person to keep themselves dry in most rain storms.I've already impressed my friends with the closing magic of this umbrella, and I've bought 2 more to keep in various locations for emergencies. The spring loaded dual action magic is perfect for getting in and out of a car and remaining totally dry.A solid purchase if you ever expect rain, and even better to keep somewhere convenient (like your glove compartment) if you don't expect rain. Just don't press the button in the rain unless you want to get wet and look like an idiot.

First of all, I was quite happy with the quality of this umbrella. Works fine and doesn't feel cheap. What I've been really happy about is the inverted design. I was really skeptical but decided to try it based on the reviews. I didn't realize how much better it really is! First, like others say the folded wet umbrella doesn't get you or others all wet when it's closed. That has been a really great feature when riding the NYC subways and buses. Second, the water does drain out fast when holding it by the strap. Within our family, it has quickly become the go-to umbrella that everyone wants to grab on a rainy day. We also bought the Third Floor regular umbrella and again good quality, but next time we need one we're going for the inverted feature for sure!

I bought this umbrella for a trip to Seattle. I needed something lightweight for the suitcase and that I wouldn't mind carrying around, but also something that would hold up well against the rain. I'm really impressed with the quality! The umbrella has a 2 click system, where 1 click pops it open, and the second click retracts it for easy storage. While it's lightweight and fit in my suitcase very easily, it seems sturdy and made with quality materials. I've been disappointed by cheaper umbrellas in the past, and am glad I did some research and bought this one. Would recommend to anyone who needs a quality compact umbrella for travel, or just for having in the car for unexpected rainy days.
