The best pre-made sauce, if you ignore amazon shipping.
This sauce is really good. Marinara with a little spicy bite to it. Goes great with just normal spaghetti and some fresh parmesan. A little pricy, but worth it if you have the money. However. Amazon packaging is nit so good. I've had shattered jars in two of my orders. But amazon let me refund them with little fus. It's the danger of getting glass sent to you.

My Go-To
Rao’s has my favorite jar sauces! I usually wait for a sale at the store but this price is great. I always have these on hand for lazy nights. I can be really particular and find other brands lacking in flavor or have weird tastes, but these are better than some sauces I’ve had at restaurants. The arrabbiata has a good spice balance, not overwhelming but definitely present. There are some tomato chunks which I prefer to break down with a fork. I either simmer for a minute on the stove or if I’m lazy heat in the microwave and it’s always good.

Love Rao's, don't love Amazon packing.
Rao's arrabbiata is my favorite pasta sauce. It's thick, rich, flavorful with a little kick, and made with quality ingredients that will stay fresh in the fridge 10-12 days if not eaten right away. It's much more expensive than the widely available good-enough jarred sauces, so I try to catch a sale whenever possible. Sometimes the better price is on Amazon, but it's frustrating not knowing if it will arrive intact, or as a sauce-soaked box of broken glass and sadness. Happily, the unprotected jars in this order (including a big 32 oz jar of vodka sauce) survived the trip thanks to boxes of my favorite pasta serving as cushioning. Why can't Amazon figure out how to consistently and appropriately pack boxes? It isn't rocket science, and even if it were, Amazon has access to rocket scientists...

Our favorite arrabbiata sauce!
This is our favorite arrabbiata sauce, so I was thrilled when I saw Amazon had it on sale for the cheapest price I've seen anywhere. The sauce is nice and thick, with a few chunks of tomato, and it has that extra zing that makes it live up to the arrabbiata name. Rao's is known for its good products, and this one does not disappoint. Definitely one we'll keep buying!
