Q: Can you verify if this will fit in a gigabyte x470 aorus gaming 7 wifi mobo?

It has the proper gigabyte spacer and screw (all gigabyte boards use the same stuff and it worked for my B350 gaming 3 board)

Q: Does the standard size fit in the ps5 using the wd black?

To clarify the confusion between standard size and low profile: NGFFM2-HS803-BK is standard size at 10mm so it will not fit on PS5 SSD upgrade. NGFFM2-HS804-BK is low profile at 5mm and it will fit on PS5 SSD upgrade. NGFFM2-HS-KIT comes with the 5mm low profile (NGFFM2-HS804-BK) heat sink in package so it will fit on the PS5 SSD upgrade.

Q: Will this work with a samsung 980 pro ssd in a ps5?

Yes it will work. The heat sink height is 5mm and with M.2 NVMe installed is 8.6mm so it is under the 11.25mm requirement.
