You don’t use water for transfer tape. The actual vinyl is water resistant as long as applied correctly.

What can be used to transfer card stock of tricky patterns? Does this work for card stock or just vinyl?

It will work for card stock but I don’t recommend it. They make a light grip transfer tape that’s much safer for paper products!

What temperature should be used when using the transfer tape on a heat press?

You can’t use this transfer tape on heat as it’ll melt. You can only use heat transfer vinyl (htv) with a heat press/ iron
