Camera works as advertised; insert SD card, (not included), download the app and create account (for remote viewing), scan camera code, plug in USB power adapter, connect to WiFi and position camera. Night vision tested up to fifteen to twenty feet. Sound and microphone work well. I had no problems connecting to WiFi in my home.At this price I would give five stars if not for it taking a week for them to solve an issue I had with video capture of “motion alarm events”. In future they should now know how to solve this problem quickly, though they claimed I was the only one of “millions” of sales to experience this problem. Unit does come with instruction, but the English translation is not accurate in a few areas that might be confusing to some.I have not tried any other security cameras for comparison, but I would feel comfortable buying this again at such a low price point for the quality and options offered.

I was pleasantly surprised by how awesome this camera is! The picture quality is amazing and the sound is great! This wouldn't be a good camera to hide anywhere because it's not very discreet, but it's been perfect for what we use it for. I can say that my dog is much better behaved now that we can yell at him to get off the couch from the comfort of work! We have an SD card, so the app is totally free. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend!

The first warning about this product is that the app that they want you to use has been blocked on the Google Play Store. An email from their support (in very poorly translated english) advised me it was a misunderstanding and would soon be corrected. They sent an APK to install to use the app, which is sketchy in the best of times.The second issue was that you CANNOT view motion alerts unless you pay for their cloud service, even with an SD Card. I have the SD Card installed, properly formatted, and set to continuous record, but the app shows me nothing to view from my phone except for live video. If there is a motion alert I want to be able to see what set off the alert in case the live view shows nothing. I like to know if maybe I left a window open and the blinds are blowing or if its night time and my security system turned on a light. Those things help me adjust sensitivity on most cameras.The problems continued with the "Motion Detection". The description lists that you can set a detection area, which i thought was great to help avoid some false alarms.....well if you want to use that feature you have to reset the area every time you turn the motion detection off and on. Since most people don't want detection alarms when they are home, this causes a bit of a hassle when you leave.My final problem with this camera is the view. After finally getting the app installed (via apk, still not on google play store), i noticed that the camera had 2 choices for the view. A fisheye concaved view OR a convex curve, both of which slightly distort the image and can make it hard to really see things quickly.I have already filed a return on this camera and will be continuing my search for something else.

This little camera is being used on WiFi as a baby monitor. We’ve had 2 of the ones that come with a separate hand held screen and they didn’t work well for us.This one is easy to set up, goes right to my phone, picture quality and motion, night vision are all acceptable. You may be able to find better picture/video quality if you pay more. For those on a budget, this one works great! I would definitely buy this for an expecting mom as a gift.It’s small, light weight, good adjustment on the head mount, easy to install/set up. I can easily move it, I like the option of having the memory chip and the option of expanding/getting more.Sound quality I think it does pick up some back ground and is too quiet at times (if you’re right next to it, not an issue) it just depends where you have it positioned in the room.Over all, I’m happy with it. Works better than what I’ve had in the past, runs off my existing network and devices and doesn’t take a rocket scientist to set it up.

I needed a camera to protect my packages from my Boston Terriers. They have an impulse to DEMOLISH everything delivered in a box; so I needed one I can view via mobile while I’m at work and interact with them via voice. I have mine mounted through a window and still picks up a nice picture; but will probably end up mounting it outside so my dogs can really hear me. They did notice even through a window when I called them. I love the alerts so I know when to look at the video and see what’s going on. Overall for price it’s not bad at all; easy set up; and it gets the job done. Very satisfied with purchase

So.. i have had the camera for almost a year. It has been working fine. Does what it needs to do. I use a SD card so I don't have to pay for the cloud.The issue... recently I got a new phone. Everything transferred perfectly and works. Going through my photos on my phone I start finding still photos taken from the security camera at all times of the day and night going back months!!My old phone was well old 5 years and the photos never showed up on that phone.I didn't take these photos. It was like someone hacked the camera and was taking still photos through it. Pictures of me in my home. Now maybe my old phone got hacked but maybe the camera did. My home wifi has a password on it so not sure how someone would have gotten to the security camera.I have unplugged the security camera and am deleting the app. I am getting a different system since I can not trust this one.
