Good and Bad
I like this dress very much for the purpose I bought it for... Staying cool. Wore it during a trip to the rainforest of Costa Rica this month, in the height of the hot, HUMID rainy season. 90+ degrees F, with 100% humidity. It did a great job at wicking perspiration, and keeping me as comfortable as possible in such conditions. The downside of the garment is the durability of the fabric. I hand washed and line-dried the dress three times in 10 days, and it is already faded and looks worn. It definitely won't look presentable beyond a half-dozen washings. Surprising for a Columbia product, and at a fairly high price point for a simple dress. Disappointed!

The totally perfect imperfect dress.
I love the way it fits and keeps me cool. The fact that it's a little longer on the sides and in the back is good for bending over without showing the world your lady business. The criticism I read about the hem rolling up after washing is totally true - I just couldn't be bothered to iron it. It's also black, but not BLACK black, so I understand the criticism that it looks "faded" or "worn." Since I have this for travel and not nights at Hollywood parties, it doesn't bother me much. I think I might just get another one, as I live in Florida, and it's nice to have something that's cute and not hot.

pretty but fabric attracts fuzzies
Love this dress. The changing hemline is very flattering and pretty. Downside is the very bottom hem does tend to fold up, I have tried straightening it but it is very difficult. I am going to take time to iron it before I wear it for casual affairs so I just deal with it, but its not ideal. Other downside is this material attracts a LOT of fuzzys and doghair. Most of my Columbia dresses are that lovely atheletic wear (like the prima agua or freezer) that sheds all hairs and fuzzies, this however is not. If you have a white dog who needs a pat everytime you walk by and you wear this dress, it will not end well (my life).I do however love the width of the shoulder straps and that I don't have much cleavage in this which can be a problem in some dresses.

Okay...
The dress fits well and is pretty, but I found the material a bit flimsy. I wore it this summer for traveling and will be lucky to get one more summer out of it.

Comfortable, Stylish and Versatile
This Some R Chill dress is so comfortable and very figure flattering. The medium size fits me perfectly. I am 5'3" and wear a size 10 dress. Columbia Sportswear is one of my favorite brands, because they make dresses for active women. I prefer to wear dresses rather than shorts or pants, which can be constrictive. You can just throw a dress on and go. I purchased this dress in black, and it's versatile enough to go from hiking to shopping or the movies.

OK, but looks old
Kinda cute but seems to run large. Fabric was also not very matte black- it already looked like it had been washed a great deal straight from the package.

amazing dress, comfortable and versatile
This is the second Some R Chill dress I own! I bought the purple one in a store and wear it on the weekends. It is perfect for travel, and I plan to take these with me abroad this summer. I love the brush stroke look and this teal color is beautiful. I am so pleased with this style of dress as it is stylish but comfortable!

Cute and comfy. Got the xs and it's a little big, hoping it will wash and shrink.
