Saved my sanity!!
This product helped get our daughter to sleep after my mouth went dry from shushing her to sleep. It stays shushing for 15 minutes and can easily be turned up or down. The battery has lasted us a few weeks and is still working great!

Worth it!
Works wonder for the baby. The volume could get pretty loud and wish it could be adjust down a little further, but this thing have been a life saver for our newborn. Love it, easy to use, and highly recommend it. Worth the money!

Loveeee
What is this sorcery?? This has been helping my newborn stay asleep even when I put her down in the bassinet. I recommend this 1,000 percent. The only thing is I wish I played for longer than 30 mins. You have to reset the timer. It shuts off after either 15 mins or 30. Love this thing tho!

Great product, some design flaws
I LOVE this, it works well and worth every penny. It's expensive but it does help. However, there are some huge design flaws- why is the only way to set it down covering the speaker where the sound comes out? I lay it on its side but then it rolls around and is annoying. ALSO, the turning function to turn up the sound / on off is so inconvenient when trying to hold baby with one arm and turn this on with the other. I wish the timer was also more clear instead of in shapes.

Must have
If you are new parent or buying for a new parent! This is an absolute must have. I did not purchase this until my baby was about a month old and I wish I had it so much sooner. As a new mom or dad when you are trying to settle a very cranky baby you find your self shushing so what feels like hours. This thing does the shushing for you! Saving your checks, jaws and lips from over tiredness. It can be really quiet of really loud, I love how adjustable it is. It is compact so you can easily take this everywhere with you. It will calm your baby! Only downfall is that it is runs on a 15 minute or 30 minute timer. You will have to restart it after the times done as there is jo way to keep in on as a constant noise.

Great idea, laughably poor design execution
This has been such a frustrating product to use. The concept is brilliant - if your baby responds to "shusing," he/she will very likely respond to this product. The sound is remarkably accurate to the sound I make when soothing our baby, and she responds to it well. If your baby doesn't respond to shushing, this isn't going to work for you. The frustration comes from the utterly horrible design: 1. The size - it's about the size of a can of soda. This is a simple machine and I know how big an iPod Shuffle and small Bluetooth speaker would be, and there's no reason this can't be smaller. 2. INABILITY TO USE ONE-HANDED. This drives me insane. Think of the situation in which this will be used - you're holding your screaming child, probably getting a little desperate, and now you have to figure out how to use this stupid thing with one hand, or set down the kid. There are only two controls - one for volume, and one for on/off (which includes two timer settings). Both are controlled by twisting. There is no reason the controls couldn't be buttons to allow you to turn it on/off with one hand. 3. You can't set it down. The only flat surface is the bottom, which is also the speaker... The designer should flat out be slapped for this. So you set it down the only way it's stable, and you can't hear it. Or you set it down on its side, and it rolls anywhere but where you want it to be. Laughably poor design. 4. The silly lanyard is useless. Make it a clip so I can affix it to the sleeve of my shirt. Again, did they even ask a parent how this thing might be used in real life? Don't buy it. Yet. Wait six months until an intelligent product designer addresses these issues, and then buy what will be an amazing tool for soothing a fussy baby.

Worlds most Okay white noise shusshee thing.
My little guy hit his 4 month sleep regression and I was DESPERATE to find something to help us all get some sleep. I heard moms were crazy about this shushing device, so I went ahead and splurged on the whole package. To be fair, it is super cute, but I have found most of it pretty useless. First of all, the pacifiers that come in the package are GIANT and they feel SO HEAVY. my baby has no idea what to do with it so we kind of use it as a teether during the day now, but it is definitely not able to be used as a soothie. He is 6 months, and 60th percentile, and he can't hold it in his mouth for more than 2 seconds. The muslin blankets are meh. They have a weird design of a questionable looking baby crying in some sort of math equation with the baby shusher that overall = picture of happy baby. Sort of hilarious, but I would like a cuter design, or maybe even just leave it plain. I feel weird about people seeing me with a crying baby on a blanket in public so I literally never bring it anywhere. It is deemed an expensive burp clothe at our house. Last, there is the shusher itself, which ACTUALLY proved to be useful...kind of. It is literally exactly what it says it is. It's a recording of a person shushing. That's it. The crazy thing is that it ACTUALLY kind of worked, and we were amazed! However, the timer only goes for either 15 or 30 minutes, which is super frustrating, because after the timer ends, my baby freaks out. I would love to leave it going all night for him, but it's not even an option, so it's pretty much useless to us now. In addition, the shape of the shusher is so strange. the only flat part is the speaker, so we can't put it on his night stand, because it will literally just roll off. In fact it has rolled off so many surfaces and caused a crash in our room that it has woken the baby several times this way. It DOES come with a way to hang it off of something like a hook, but we don't have anything nearby to make that work. Seriously I wish I just bought a regular sound machine with at least some sort of extra feature, that ACTUALLY stands on a flat surface. I hope this helps you sleep deprived parents! Hang in there, it DOES get better!
