Solved My Issues
I've got a hopped up Harley that never had a problem with mainshaft bearing race walk issues. Then one day I had a bad leak from both the primary and the transmission. I tore into it and the race had walked into the both seals. It had lasted for ~65k miles so I just replaced it, buying the race and the special puller/installer. In the next riding season it failed again, leaving me in a bind before a trip. I decided to go with the baker upgrade and I've put close to 15k on it with no issues and no special tools are required to install it. Has a good tight fit on the mainshaft when you slip the inner primary back on. I would definitely recommend it. Leak free!

Awesome bearing!
If you have to remove your inner primary for any reason at all you need this bearing!!!! The old design with the race is terrible to work on. This made inner primary install a breeze amd seems to be good quality like everything else I purchased from baker. I have a 200 roadking and purchased the entire transmission rebuild kit along with this bearing. If you buy the transmission rebuild kit just remember it's for different years so you will have spare parts don't freak out like I did!

Great service!
Received order on time and product installed with no fitment issues. With the Baker high bearing & seal set , there is no need for the inner race on the main shaft. Therefore this eliminates inner race movement and possible inner or outer bearing damage. Great product and great service from Amazon. Do not buy from Dennis Kirk, poor customer service.

A great upgrade to the Harley Davidson
This is a great little addition to the inner primary bearing area. Using this bearing you can get rid of the press on race that goes on the transmission Shaft and install the baker high torque bearing. It works much better

Garbage from Baker!
Garbage part! Baker provided a sealed bearing. It should have been an open bearing. The sealed bearing had no way for oil to drain, so oil ended up leaking from main shaft seal, especially after long rides. Had to rebuild primary for second time using open bearing. Terrible customer support - stay away from baker products.

Only for stock mainshaft 06-07 Trannys.
Can only be used if you still have the 06-07 stock mainshaft.If you've upgraded to the -06B shaft it will not work.Harley in 08 turned down the shaft around .008 where the inner primary bearing race goes to keep it from walking in board on the shaft.
