I was honestly a little hesitant to buy these lights at first, but I am definitely glad I did.I purchased two of these batten lights to replace some old fluro tubes that I had in the garage. I was getting tired of them blowing all the time. I was going through a lot of tubes and a lot of starters!These lights are really quite bright, so there are no problems on that front. They are also very light weight and easy to install.Such a great buy. I am just about to buy a smaller (2ft one) to replace the light in my garden building. Awesome!

Fantastic light and so happy with it. I just wired it up to a plug and then connected it to a tv/monitor getting arm. I can swing it over my desk and if I want to another desk. It is freaking awesome!So I saw another review saying no earth.... Yeah duh you don't need an earth when it is a plastic fitting! You only need an earth on metal fittings lol like you literally could not connect the earth to anything because nothing is metal.To anyone saying it is light... Ya because it is plastic, surprisingly sturdy on the diffuser side and is only a step off LEDs inside. Like what did you expect it is perfect! Light and bright!The CE is fake, you can see by the shape but look I buy LEDs from China all the time, they are fine and grand. I work with electronics and I have no qualms about this.Getting more for when I do the shed!

I like these lights a lot. They were very easy to install (no transformer needed) and they are bright and will (hopefully) last a long time. I swapped out 3 x 5ft fluorescent lights in a store room and these give pretty much equivalent light (maybe a little dimmer but certainly workable). The only reason for withholding a star is the way they were sent: there is no stiffness in the packaging and no additional packaging -- they are sent as is -- and as a result one of the lights was badly damaged (bent at angle at one end). At first I was going to send it back but because of the hassle decide to try it anyway and it worked. So I straightened the aluminium as best I could and installed it anyway and it is fine. (Just shows how hardy these lights are I suppose!)

This is a really bright fitting with a nice slim profile. Very easy to fit with just a positive and negative lead, the tails could be a bit longer but this was overcome in my case by soldering/heat shrinking, insulating a two core extension into the original ceiling connection. It is an instant 'ON' light so no fluorescent type warm up or flicker, buyer should be aware however that the unit is disposable, no replaceable light/bulb so when it goes, swap out the whole unit - simply treat it as you would a bulb! That being said the LED has a very long life expectancy. Very pleased and our 90yo Aunt can actually see when cooking in the kitchen again! LoL

I would avoid these lights at all costs. I have purchased 7 of these within a couple of month of each other. As I hit 6-10 months after purchase 5 of them stopped working. Before I talk about the lights - the delivery packaging was awful and a couple arrived damaged in transit. However I was able to put them back together and get them working as it was just a case of the light being twisted/bent and the flimsy plastic sleeve had come out of the casing. Now the lights themselves - first of all they aren’t easy to install. They are very flimsy and if you are heavy handed you can twist the aluminium casing very easy which makes them hard to work with. Secondly this makes pushing the light into the ceiling/wall clips difficult as you cannot use force. Thirdly - the wiring is INCREDIBLY thin. Trying to wire up is difficult due to the terrible wire quality. Once they are in they are very bright but they all seem to die just after warranty. I have two left and one of those has started a buzzing noise. I am pretty sure it will die shortly too as a couple of the others started doing this before they terminated themselves. I managed to get two refunded but the other three that died are out of warranty (which is only 6 months suspiciously). Spend a bit more on some permanent fixtures as Amazon will not cover them outside of their warranty.

used for main light in shed.....very bright light....no delay when switching on....light is three feet long--rather than four foot as it says in advertisement?.....but still good value....lightweight....easy to fit....if you have just two wires(brown and blue).....just use insulation tape on earth wire to isolate it....this light does not require an earth!...easy done....pleased with light---would buy again....thank you!

As of May 2020 the 4ft,36W light being sold is surprisingly good quality. Mine has a solid plastic body/cover, which is good as there's no earth lead included. It gives out a nice bright light and was easy to fix with the adjustible brackets included.The provided connection wire is very short (about 6") and not replaceable, but perfectly adequate when used with with a nearby junction box.I can't talk about longevity after only a few days, but overall I'm impressed with this product and will purchase some more for the loft.

The first problem I encountered when a light fitting failed was you can't buy news fluorescent lights. Poor Energy rating, so their a no no now. The first thing that struck me with these fittings is how light they are, but that's not a bad thing. They come with screws, plugs and fix with a simple spring clip at either end, and are a doddle to fit. A two core flex exits the end of the fitting. You will need a 5A round junction box to marry the flex to your existing wiring, keeping things safe and legal. This shouldn't be a problem to a keen DIY'er. Light output is excellent.

Me ha funcionado bien durante 4 meses. He tenido que quitarlo porque emite un zumbido cuando está encendido. Apagado parpadea un resto de luz y también emite zumbido.

buena calidad de luz pero con un ruido insoportable. NO LA RECOMIENDO
