Nippies Nipple Covers for Women - Reusable Sticky Silicone Pasties with Travel Case - Original Circle or Lift Style Available

First off I feel very weird writing a review for this product BUT it’s been such a game changer for me that, despite feeling awkward, I wanted to write a review. I have a ridiculously small chest, I wear a 32AA but if the size existed I’d honestly fit better in a 28-30AA. Therefore I have an EXTREMELY hard time finding any real bra that fits me well and what does fit the best is sports bras. Unfortunately most sports bras don’t really have enough padding to conceal the outlines of this part of the breast (unfortunately with being a very small bust size I feel as though it just makes it even more noticeable) especially with any semi-tight top and there is nothing I hate more than having it show even slightly. For most of my life I’ve just avoided tops that are tighter but with a recent wardrobe change it became unavoidable and I needed some lighter browns which made the whole situation worse. So I decided to give this a try. I am so so so glad I did! It gives me enough coverage that even with a lightly padded sports bra I can still wear a more form fitting lighter colored top. They last all day (even in the height of summer and being outside in the sun all day and being fairly sweaty). I’ve reused the same pair multiple times and the adhesive despite numerous times hand washing. To ensure a good firm stick I do take a witch hazel toner over the area to remove any lotion, I’m not sure it is necessary to do that but I just want to make sure they stay put. I have very sensitive skin and despite the great grip it never bothers me! The only thing I kind of dislike is that if you sweat when you remove these there will be a dampness to the skin and covers BUT the dampness never ever leaks or shows and it never causes any kind of a rash or reaction on me. In fact the first time I used these was on a 90° day and after 6 hours outside and being hot dressed up in my Ren Faire clothes I was completely taken by surprise when I did remove them and discovered it was slightly damp, so you really can’t tell. I’m personally not a person that sweats much so my sweating in those conditions is much less than most people so perhaps someone else would have a different experience with these. The lack of sweating also means body odor really isn’t something I really worry about (I mean I use deodorant because you should not because I actually need to and that’s about the extent of my worry) but even with that dampness there was no odor. So for me that one things I’m not fond of is totally endurable because this product allows me to wear so many more tops with less self-consciousness! I have no idea if these are better or the same as cheaper brands because this was the first I tried and it worked so well I don’t plan on switching! I even swam with these once and they stayed on all day. I play volleyball, catch, frisbee, etc in the pool and don’t often dunk and swim a ton so if you swam submerged for hours I have no idea if they’d stay but for my activity that includes some dunking these things didn’t budge! I only got to try them once but this is going to allow me to wear a lot of bikini tops I would have avoided before! Seriously, life changing!

I'm a small B-cup and don't really need a bra, and find bras uncomfortable. So, I bought my first pair of adhesive Nippies back in January. I have worn them nearly every day since then, and for me, they have been about as perfect as a product could be. Comfort: They're extremely comfortable -- so comfortable, in fact, that I occasionally forget to take them off before going to sleep because I forget they're there. I was afraid that the adhesive might irritate my skin, but it hasn't at all. They stay on very well and are easy to wash after use (I use plain old soap and water). Coverage: The coverage they provide is remarkably good, given how extremely thin they are. I can wear a form-fitting white tee-shirt with just the Nippies underneath, and my nipples aren't visible. I recently tried one other brand of nipple covers (Spicy Spot) because they were less expensive, and although they were thicker than Nippies, they were almost completely transparent and my nipples were quite visible under light-colored shirts. So in terms of how well they do their job, Nippies have definitely been worth the money for me. I love not having to worry about bra straps showing! Lifespan: As I said, I wore my first pair almost every day for 3+ months, so my estimate is that they've lasted about 100 wears. They have just now gotten to the point where enough of the adhesive has worn away that I can't wear them with looser shirts (though they're still fine with more form-fitting shirts, which hold them in place). I just ordered my second pair. It definitely took a little while to get used to not wearing a bra (I felt naked at first!) but I've come to trust the Nippies and I am so much more comfortable every day now. I no longer have to experience that awful mid-afternoon feeling of an underwire pressing into my ribs. It would be nice if they were a little cheaper, but I guess 25 cents (or less) per wear isn't so much to pay for all-day comfort. I've been really happy with this product. ****UPDATED 5/5/2011**** Just wanted to add that, although I purchased my next pair back in March (at the time I wrote this review), I didn't end up having to break out the new pair until yesterday -- I was able to keep using my old pair in spite of the fact that adhesive was coming off from the edges. There was still enough adhesive to make them stay on, and I tend to wear clothes that are slightly (though not extremely) form-fitting which has kept them laying flat even though the edges weren't really sticking to my skin anymore. Only when they stopped being able to stick to my skin did I have to ditch them for the new pair. So if you are someone who wears clothes that mostly conform to your body shape, you may find that you can make them last a long time (for me it was four months of almost everyday wear, which equates to over 100 uses). ****UPDATED 4/2/2012**** I've continued to love and rely on my Nippies on an almost daily basis, and I'm now on my 5th pair. Thought I would add this: the last pair I got aged a little weirdly (the adhesive did a peeling thing and overall they felt a little flimsier), and when I emailed Bristols 6 about it, I got a lovely, appreciative response from a customer service representative who promptly sent me a new pair (which seem to be normal so far). It was some of the best customer service I've ever received -- this is the kind of company you want to support!

I absolutely love these! They are incredibly comfortable and stay in place really well. I even went swimming with them on, and they didn’t move at all. I completely forgot I was wearing them. Removing them was easy and painless, and they never irritated my skin. Being able to wear tank tops without a bra, visible straps, or discomfort has been a game changer. One thing to note: they are smaller than I expected and only cover the areola and nipple area, not the entire breast. However, they look completely invisible under clothing and actually give a nicer shape and smoother appearance. In addition, they come in a nice box perfect for taking them to trips! Overall, I’m so happy with this purchase and would definitely buy them again.

I got these to try out because I recently purchased some new bras that are not padded; just thinly lined. I had hoped with this horrid summer heat and humidity the unpadded bras would not get so damp from me sweating. The problem with the unlined bras is nipple show through so, after reading about various products in this category, I tried these. They are simple to apply and come in a rather sturdy flip-top case that can be used to keep them clean and in shape. Upon arrival they have tissue-like paper against the adhesive part and each is set on top of a thin plastic domed form for keeping them separated and in proper shape. To apply, I peeled away the tissue paper, placed the product adhesive side up in the center of my palm, leaned over and applied it, holding it in place a second or two as instructed so body heat helps adhere the adhesive to skin. It was smooth and flat without any wrinkles or puckers. That was at 4am this morning when I got dressed. It was pretty much invisible and I must admit, once I put my bra in place I could not tell I was wearing them. I could tell, however, that I had no peek-through or poke-through of my bra or my thin summer tank top. That is until I stopped in the grocery store and got to the frig/freezer sections. By the time I got out of that section of the grocery store, nothing short of a patio brick would have stopped my show through so if that is the reason you're looking at these, I'm not sure they will be the cover you desire. One thing I would like to mention is that the instructions advise not to wear these longer than 6-8 hrs/day. That seems weird to me unless a woman plans on removing them half-way through her day somehow and somewhere. If that is the case, why bother with them at all? I don't know any woman who is going to be up and dressed early in the morning like me to head out to work and deal with family and have to remember to remove these things a few hours later, stick them back on their little domed forms to keep them in shape, and then tuck them in her purse. Anyway, I put them on at 4am this first day, and it is now 4 pm and I just remembered to take them off. They came off easily and I'll be hand washing them promptly and air drying as instructed. I'm not one to go braless even though I do have tank tops with those shelf bras inside them. I just don't like that look for myself but smaller busted women may just be able to get away with it using these in those types of tops successfully. They are expensive for not being able to wear them from morning to night, but my first experience with them was quite positive. I'm sure I'll be using them all summer while I'm wearing my unpadded bras for comfort as I really didn't notice these even once today while wearing them. I didn't notice anything else either if you follow my drift here. I may even get a second pair, even at this expense, to rotate them for daily use. After my brief encounter with the cold areas in the grocery store, I am not so sure these would solve the problem of show through in a bathing suit but they might minimize that problem a bit.

I am REALLY impressed by how well these hold up and how comfortable they are. Unlike other pairs of sticky covers I've tried, these don't start to peel off the second I start sweating. I've worn them for over 8 hours, multiple days in a row, and don't even notice they are there. They're seamless under even my thinnest tops, and are just as sticky on wear 10 as they were on wear 1. For the price, I was SUPER impressed with the quality, and highly recommend them!

Woke up this morning with these things still on and had to write a review. So comfortable, I forgot I even had them on when I went to bed. And they’re stuck on there STRONG.

I really loved these nipple covers at first. They were comfortable, looked great, and felt like a high-quality product. Unfortunately, once the weather started getting warmer and I began sweating while exercising they started losing their adhesive. I specifically purchased them because they were advertised as being sweat resistant, so this was disappointing. I also followed the care instructions exactly as recommended, including cleaning them properly after use, so I don’t believe this was an issue of improper care. For the price, I honestly expected better performance and durability, especially in warm weather and during physical activity. I still like the look and feel of them, which is why I’m not giving a lower rating, but it’s disappointing that I can’t confidently wear them for workouts or even on hot summer days. If you’re mainly wearing them indoors or in cooler weather, they may work well for you. Unfortunately, they didn’t hold up to sweat the way I had hoped.

I absolutely love these nippies nipple covers! They fit perfectly!!! On my nipples!!! They don’t come off! They don’t move! They stay on until you remove them!! And you can reuse them over and over! And they will still fit the same! Finally I found nipple coverage that actually stays on!!!! I would highly recommend these ladies!!!

These are amazing! The adhesive is really good so they stay in place. They are so comfortable you can't even feel them. They are perfect for when you want to wear something without a bra, as they cover enough of the nipple area, and it smoothed out really well. The only issue I would say is that even though this is the darkest colour, it won't blend well with very dark skin tones as it is still fairly light (My skin tone is like a caramel colour and this colour blended perfectly with my skin). Other than that this product definitely is worth the money! Would 100% buy again

These nipple covers are the best I’ve used. Well worth the investment over the cheap disposable petals you can get online. They also come in a lovely box and have plastic things to help keep their shape. They stick well and stay in place. I’m very impressed.
