They're cute and when they stay where they're supposed to, they do a good job. Our issue was that they rarely stayed right at the port. Most of the time they got pushed off and just hung onto the middle of the cord. So, they're not too functional to stop the bending/cracking, but they can be used to mark whose cord it is.

Over the years the point of stress on charging cords is right at the point of joining the tablet or phone. Even the braided cords start showing stress and then fracture/weakness. I know that these look like they are designed for children, but who cares, as long as they work. So far I can tell that they look like these are going to work a long time.

These work great for ear buds and my micro charger, they are too small for the new c style one but I just spread it open more to fit it. I love not having the cord bending and crimping.
