Amazing small photo box. About 8.5in square. A really cool thing about this box is that it can run off a battery so you can take it anywhere any time.Well made, easy to assemble and an great assortment of colored backgrounds.Just wish it was bigger.××× note:××× the micro USB plug on led strip is fragile. If you feed the cable in from the backside of the box and leave a small loop before you plug in the cable it will protect the fragile connector. Since it's a standard micro USB connector you can also buy a right angle adapter to help eliminate stress on the LED electronics board.

Ok folks here is the answer, my wife ordered this and brought it to me saying "I can't figure this out and the instructions are dumb."You get a box, two lights, two usb cables (one with a power switch and dimmer buttons and one without), an assortment of colored background swatches and a tripod thingy for your phone.One of the lights is affixed to the box, it is the box light, and the box light uses the usb cable that has the power switch and dimmer buttons. The other light is a square board it is the bored light and uses the normal usb cable, but has a power button that lights up red when plugged in, touch the button to turn off and on touch and hold to use the dimmer function.The colored background swatches have holes that will slip over tabs cut into the back of the box to help hold them in place.I would advise tossing the tripod and figuring something else out, in fact I will probably be fabricating some kind of box and just using the lights as this is a very small box.I dont know what the hole in the top is for, and I have no clue where to put the board light as that seems to be something someone who knows something about photography should know, and I am not a photographer just some geek with a wife that wants to take pictures of small things.

This light box is portable and it works very well for taking pictures of small items, such as small toys or jewelry. It was easy to assemble but the directions I received only explained how to put the box together. I had to check a picture of the finished light box to figure out how to plug in the two USB connections for the light source.

After about a month of using this photo box the LED lights started peeling off.

I originally wrote a bad review thinking the LED panel was broken... it turns out, the blue light on the cord switch means OFF. Haha! It works great now!(Still I would’ve liked instructions to explain that to me. The only instructions included are how to assemble the foldable studio.)

Perfect for jewelry, gemstones, coins, etc.Great lighting and portability makes it perfect for small auction type items.Couldn’t be better.

I am not pleased with this item. It does not assemble correctly. The light strips on the top do not allow for easy access to plug in the usb, causing the light box to be way out of square. Also the mini tripod is very weak.the light is very poor. Does not provide near enough light for the product. I use Swarovski crystals and they should be sparkling. I missed the return deadline, and unfortunately, I am out the purchase price.
