Tall and expansive. Works well. I did have a hard time working with expanding and getting it tight against walls. Once I got it set up and tight it works. With some force or pushed hard enough, it can fall over. You may have to use the mounting pieces for sturdier fit. Just prevents it from being portable if using mounting pieces.

I love this gate! It is taller than the average gate, and that is an awesome feature. I don't have to worry about my baby trying to climb over it, but it keeps the dogs from jumping over it too, which I can't say for the shorter ones. I also appreciate that it can fit a normal doorway, but it can also go much more wide than the average gate as well. Very helpful when I want to put it somewhere besides the doorway. Super easy to install and easy to use as well. I like how the bar clips down onto the other bar without any extra hardware. That's a big part of the reason I chose this one. I love this gate and am so happy I purchased it.

Not the most attractive, and I had one like this 30 years ago, but it works! Shopping for a gate that would extend more than 4 feet, there weren't many choices. Most of the more modern ones had some good reviews, but also terrible ones. I remembered this type of gate, and it works well. Once it's set to the desired width, it's easy to use. And does NOT require permanent attachment to the doorway, which was a plus.

I bought this baby gate to block off the top of my porch so that my pup can enjoy outside without the chance of escape and this works beautifully! It is very pretty as well. It is a great basic, no frills, attractive, sturdy baby gate.

The price is great, and in theory looks like the best option. However I will say I am not super happy with a few qualities of the bay gate. the clamp to adjust it is nearly impossible to move or adjust and looks like I will need some plyers or a scewdriver to help open it so I can actually adjust the gate.The construction overall looks solid, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I am writing this review on first impressions

Inexpensive and does the job. All I needed to keep my dog off the stairs after surgery.

I bought this to keep my puppy from going to the rest of the house. It’s so easy, and convenient to use.

I used similar gates when my kids were young and they worked fine. I got these for my grandchild's visits. They are flimsy and hard to install, hard to operate. Just plain bad. We had to buy another kind of gate.
