Works like it should
Unfortunately for me I am not able to use this for my ceiling duct work, even with a pull tape attached. It just hangs up at the 1st bend every time no matter what I try. I am thinking of maybe trying a remote control truck in there, who knows. It should work fine for most applications, and should be pretty straightforward for most folks.

Great for DIYers and small projects
Basically the cheapest way to trouble shoot lots of issues around the house requiring visual inspection in tight spaces. If you’re trying to decide whether or not to open a wall or locate/observe the layout of plumbing and ducting before remodeling. It’s not a replacement for a true plumber’s camera snake as the flexibility/rigidity binds up on itself after a few tight bends. If your a DIY type, the camera head can easily be inserted in to a roller or ball to help it slide through bending pipes. Without something to guide the camera head, the end tends to get caught on rough surfaces or seams.

Sewer lines
Keep in mind you will need to tie this to a fish tape or drain snake in order to take turns on sweet lines. The tention is not enough for anything over 5ft. If used properly, it can work great to give you images/video of inside your sewer pipes. Btw, I used zip ties to attach it to drain snake. Worked well.

No funciona con Android
Todo bien excepto que la conexión con la app en Android se queda bloqueada en pocos segundos por lo que solo se puede utilizar con apple. Con un ipad de apple funciona correctamente.

Works perfectly for drainage pipe inspection!
I was hesitant to purchase this product after reading the sparse reviews but am so glad I did. I suspected that the connection issues might be user issues which I think is true. The phone app was perfect and easy to use. To connect wirelessly, you have to turn off Auto-connect for the wifi you use at home. That way you can connect to the endoscopy easily, so easily that even when I returned to use the camera another day it connected as soon as I opened it the app.As for the "no picture" complaint, I had what I thought was the same issue. When I pushed the camera into the pipe I couldn't see anything. However when I pulled it out of the pipe I could see the video. Hmmm, I thought. So I pushed the camera in a few more feet and Voila! I could see the video. It turns out that the interior of the first few feet of the pipe was black so there was nothing to see, just blackness. I'm glad I didn't give up!My only "complaint" is that the light is not really adjustable. When I adjusted the brightness it was pretty much either on or off. This fact did not affected the usefulness of the tool for me.I did not try to use the camera without taping it to another object. I think the cable is too flexible to be effective in a long run of 4" pipe. I taped it to a garden hose at first. This proved to be difficult to push into the pipe at about 30 feet. Next I used a fiberglass electrical wire-pulling tool. That was much, much easier to convey into the pipe. The only "problem" you are going to have to overcome when using this tool is how to protect the camera and keep it somewhat centered in the pipe. It is such a small camera that if there is any water in the pipe it will submerge and you won't be able to see. I inserted the camera in a 1" PVC coupler with some spacing material and taped it in place.Lastly, I did not have any problem with the battery. I fully charged it before attempting to use the camera. I used it for more than an hour over a span of four or five days and never ran out of power.I am pleased to own this useful and inexpensive tool and look forward to finding other uses for it.

Great for the price
Wanted for viewing a long dryer vent. Did as well as I expected and invested in it. It gave me all the views I needed. The snaking was a bit harder than I thought. I agree with others it is too soft to make sharp turns. It buched up on me a couple times but eventually got thru.Set up would be tricky if you dont follow the instructions and know a bit about how connections work on a phone. you need to sign on to the units wifi, then sign back on to yours. when you figure it out, its not hard.

Great for the price, but I would change a few things.
Just got this and I am not disappointed for the price. The product works as advertised so far. A couple of things that already annoyed me though: 1) The instructions are very brief and do not specify that you must charge the product fully in order to get it to work. Once I charged it, following the instructions was strait forward 2) This is one of those products that "supports wifi" by broadcasting it's own SSDI to which you connect to use the product. It works. It gets the job done. But it's really annoying...you've just turned your smart phone into a single purpose screen for the camera, you can't connected to another wifi network so you have no internet and are stuck using a second device if you need to do other tasks. Boo. My Nikon camera does this too and I just don't get why you'd design it that way. All I can think is it must be cheaper. --- That said, I give 4 stars because the product seems well made and it works. It will definitely do the job I bought it for -- exploring a drain pipe in my rental house -- and I can definitely see how it will be helpful in future projects. If I could choose between this one and one with a built in display, I'd definitely still choose this one -- no sense in paying for that dedicated display. But I wish it connected to your wifi instead of publishing it's own... that still just mystifies me.

Saved a trip from the plumber
I set this up on a galaxy 21 and an IPhone 7, both work decent, not great with technology but the instructions were good and they have videos on it also to set it up. My toliet wouldn’t flush but water would eventually drain. After snaking the drain and vent pipes, taking the toliet off to checking if something was clogged in the toliet with a flashlight and changing the seal, bought this endoscope and found a plastic cap was the culprit the whole time, stuck in the toliet, it paid for itself first time using it

Worked good for price
Good product didn’t work for what I had to do but then I used it to look inside and engine the picture was a little grainy but it was bright when no natural light could come in and the focus was good it’s way better when you have some natural light or another light source and the app is a tad bit confusing and the instructions didn’t help much

Unable to hook up
Do you need to be a techno wizard to get this working. Followed instructions and unable to get it working. You have to call for a password and there wasn’t enough numbers.

Camera Shoots in 16:9, and displays as 4:3
Because of the forced perspective, there is incredible warping of the video in the app.Software issues need to be fixed, and the product will be much more usable.
