Xiangxiangzui Beef Style 2 Oz (Pack of 5)

UPDATE:added back 1 star, for addiction!the "chicken" and "lamb" ones eventually arrived from China, and although equally-delicious, mostly made things slightly more confusing.came through customs in a well-fitting well-sealed small but sturdy styrofoam box - probably not necessary, but a nice touch.(and also, unsurprisingly, a clumsy hole or two poked by customs to peek inside, ha)so:some Chinese website vendors simply list the "beef" only as 'spicy', not as "beef". which it certainly is. and to be fair, it doesn't taste much like beef, just tasty well-spiced generic protein.the green "chicken" packets are less spicy (but just as oily) but the consistency/texture is much heavier almost like... lamb. (but if you look in the top-right of the green packet 5th photo, that's most definitely the word for for chicken)the yellow "lamb" packets (also just as oily) are at least as spicy as the "beef" and perhaps even more tender texture. other Chinese websites actually seem to sell this one as "cumin flavor", though. anyway, to me it (as much as actually possible, ha) tastes more like chicken!! and yet the top-right of the yellow packet clearly has the word for lamb/sheep.go figure. I like them both, so doesn't really matter, and it's nice to have a choice between chewy and tender.another NB: neither of these had a printed ingredients / nutrition sticker in English, and the info in Chinese is a bit hard to read due to being printed on clear plastic of the packaging. I'll just assume it's more-or-less similar to the "beef" flavor, though.ORIGINAL REVIEW:NB: be aware which vendor/seller you end up with - Amazon has some esoteric way of choosing the least-expensive-with-good-ratings (plus some other factors, I'm sure) - I wasn't paying attention, ordered a 5x60g-pack of each of the 3 flavors. assumed (my fault) it was all coming from the same seller in NY states. but - the beef-flavor arrived promptly. the other 2 were shipped from HK and will take a week or three to arrive.these things are oily, peppery, somewhat overpriced, and highly addictive.(the 3 stars instead of 4 is for the price/addictiveness factor, not for my mistake in getting slow overseas shipping)tip: if you store them with the sticks pointing upward, then at least some of the oil drains off of the sticks.Ingredients: soybean, water, vegetable oil, chili, sichuan pepper, salt, spice, sugar, sesame.Food Additives: MSG, 'Food flavor', Disodium 5'-ribonucleotide.

good flavor, SO oily. Extremely off-putting how soaked in greasy oil this was...but after blotting it obsessively with paper towels, must admit the flavor was pretty tasty.
