Perfect for my needs.
These tags are VERY sturdy...about 1/16" thick. I use them for my orchids ID. They can withstand a lot of handling without breaking, and go into potting medium with ease. They're not the largest in terms of width, so make sure the size is what you need. Highly recommended!

Useful For Labeling All Your Plants
You don't need this if you have two or three houseplants. You do need this if you've gone past a certain point and have become a cat lady of sorts—but with plants.I stopped counting how many plants I have in my home. I reached a point where I was starting to forget their scientific names, so I needed help with that and got these plant labels. These are 6-inch pieces of plastic that you can write on with a Sharpie. They are thick and sturdy to stick in soil without any bending or breaking. If they are too long you can cut them with scissors. If you don't want to use a pen and want nice computerized printing, you can be like me and print label stickers and stick them on these.— TIP —On one side you can label the common name and scientific name, and on the other side you can write care instructions in terms of sun/water/other things that are pertinent for specific species. However you choose to label them these are highly useful in helping you remember the name of your plants. Recommended.

Good for water gardening
I easily made them a wee bit more pointed with scissors for pushing into my water lily pots. They are a good length & take a sharpie marker well. The rounded ends are not sharp so fish safe.
