Extremely energy efficient with good performance!
The trusense z2000 model is great to look at. Airflow seems nice and strong at speed 2 and turbo mode. While anything lower than that like speed 1 and whisper mode seem useless, I'm sure they still provide at least a small amount of filtration. The dc motor in these units seems of great quality, with no motor hum of any kind at any speed. I have this unit in the living room of my 800sq/ft apartment. While the living room isn't huge, it is attached to the kitchen which opens the space up quite a bit. I have the unit right in the center of the room. I have run 24/7 on turbo mode for the last week I have owned it, and I absolutely tell a great difference in room smell for one, I'm a vegan who cooks with a lot of onions and garlic, and as we all know, in a small place creates a stank. My girlfriend and I also have 2 rabbits a 20lb dog as well as a cat, and wow the place feels significantly more fresh. I must say the filter that comes with the unit seems of extremely good quality and with the depth and thickness of the filter should truly last 6 months or more, with a monthly cleaning of the velcroed pre filter! The particle sensor works extremely well and speaks quickly with the purifier itself. I demoed by vaping a huge cloud semi close but not directly on the sensor and within 2 seconds the numbers started climbing on the purifier itself!!! Auto mode does work very well, but mine will stay on turbo 24/7 for best performance. Also for anyone who actually wants this for the uv light aspect of it, then it should be a great choice for you, the design of where the bulb is located is perfect for best performance and no weird glowing uv light on outside of unit. If I had to add cons to this unit, they would be 1st No remote with unit or wifi capabilities, however the sensor like buttons have an awesome feel and sound when pressed. 2nd, I do believe for the cost of this unit, the unit should be slightly wider and taller. Would I buy another one of these? Absolutely but even for a 10x10 bedroom or slightly larger, I'd still want at least the z-2000 model, as the smallest model is neither dc motored nor does it actually seem like it would be suitable for anything larger than a master bathroom. EDIT- so after 1 month and 2 days of using this almost always on turbo mode, I've noticed a decrease in filtering... for almost a whole month any amount of vapor blown thru this came nothing out of the top. However it now seems to only capture about half of whatever vape is blown thru it. I've reinstalled the filter multiple times to see if maybe it had some sort of sealing issue, but other than screwing on the cap at the base of the model as tight as possible "without breaking it" seems to have no effect. It's kind of sad really because about a year ago I had purchased a "Filtrete 3m small air purifier" for 60 bucks from wal-mart, which had optional hepa filters to buy separate which I did. It was an additional 17.99 for the filter. This purifier while lacking a dc motor "not a big deal since still energy star certified " to date seems to completely remove any amount, no matter how large of vapor. I am now slightly disappointed in the trusense z-2200 for the fact that I spent more than three times the amount on doesn't compare in filtration after 1 month of use. For anyone looking for something to decrease e-cig vapors in your home might want to look elsewhere. I hope this update helps

still works after 5 years. easy to change filters, quiet
TruSens Air Purifier is amazing! We had to purchase these during the pandemic. good quaity since we purchased these in 2020 and they still work. It has a lighted screen that stays lit up and when a filter needs changed it lights up to tell you which filter needs changed. you can reset this feature to remove warnings if need be in a time crunch but the warning light does come back on as a reminder in a couple days. My numbers run around 8 if no one is around. With people, sometimes it kicks up to around 20s. Under 40s it is pretty quiet nice white noise sound. very calming. I’ve seen it over 50s and its s little bit louder and I’ve seen it kick to 234-400 before depending who is around and what kind of smells it senses. I work in a dental office so I need my air to be cleaned all day long when someone walks by who smokes the air purifier immediately senses it and starts cleaning the air or if a procedure down the hall makes it to my room the TruSens will kick up and extra clean the room. It is continuously cleaning Several modes to choose from and can be super quiet or louder depending on fan speed. Its a must buy if you like cleaner air Easy to operate with the wifi feature and filter changes are easy

In summary, the TruSens Air Purifier delivers on its promise of cleaner, healthier air in a compact and user-friendly package. It's an excellent addition to any home or office. Highly recommended!

Does the job well. Could have done without the air quality sensor.
It’s a good quality air purifier for sure. It looks sleek too. I love the button that turns off all the lights for sleeping. However, I do wish they offered a cheaper medium sized unit without the air quality sensor. It’s nice that the fan can run higher automatically if there is poor quality air, but I mostly run this overnight at speed 2. When using the sensor, the fan will not rev up that high unless the air quality is very very poor- only if you placed the unit in a smoky kitchen or were a smoker and recently lit up for instance. The UV bacteria killing functionality is a cool addition, but again if there were a cheaper model of the same size without that feature, I would have preferred to buy that. And I would trade the air quality sensor or the UV light for a simple remote control. Or to have the option to turn off the sounds it makes when you press its buttons. I don’t mind the sounds (they aren’t very loud and they sound elegant) but the option would be nice for some users, I’m sure. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy again from this company. I appreciate the quality of the unit. It seems sturdy and well worth the investment in the long term. (I’ve been using it for over a month now and have experienced no issues whatsoever).

This filter does an amazing job!
We absolutely love this quality HEPA air purifier! I originally thought it was a bit pricey but when I read the reviews and considered that the replacement HEPA filters only needs to be replaced about every 12-15 months, (most of the other HEPA filters I was considering needed their filters replaced every 6 months), this seemed to be a much better value. The design is so modern and fits in just perfectly. The sensor pod can be placed in different spots within eye sight of the filter to give you an immediate reading of the air quality. And the best part, this filter does an amazing job! I purchased this filter for my asthmatic cat who was having multiple asthma attacks daily. Since we set up the unit now two weeks ago, she has literally only had two very minor asthma attacks, and I can attribute that to the fact that she was spending less time in the rooms where the filter is placed. So needless to say I will be ordering two more for the other rooms of the house. These filters really do help our little girl and for me, as someone else so eloquently stated they are “priceless”. Thank you Trusens!

This engineering, perfectionist mind encourages you to consider this well engineered product.
There is a lot to like about this air purifier. I have edited this review after owning it for several months. I had researched many air purifiers and chose the large model of this one. I have no relationship with the manufacturer. I purchased this machine at full price. I have a strong engineering, geeky, perfectionist mindset. There are several technical and engineering reasons I like this purifier and recommend it. Many purifiers don’t have an adequate seal from their filter. This one has a tight seal so incoming air is forced through the filter. The filter frame has a large screw plate that insures a tight seal. The filter is a cylinder so air enters in from 360 degrees. This machine has a unique remote sensor that can read the air quality from 49 feet away. This causes the unit to continuously measure the air quality and adjust the fan speed to accommodate any rise in air pollution. For this reason, I leave my unit on “automatic” setting and the noise volume sounds like a hard drive from a computer or dvd drive motor - very pleasant white noise. I have four dogs that “play” inside. They also play in our half acre back yard so they bring in lots of undesired air challenges. This machine shows a large digital readout of the air quality. It also shows a colored light display. The blue light says that the air quality is good whereas a red light on top declares the air quality is being worked on and is being remediated. The machine disperses the outgoing air in an effective discharge in two directions. The machine is cosmetically pleasing to the eye. I also like that there is a large internal UV blue light that kills dangerous pathogens. Although there are machines larger and more expensive, in my opinion, this is an excellent purifier to consider for the large area it can clean and desirable features it has for the purchase price point of $400. The replaceable filter elements are reasonably priced for how long they last. All this to say, I highly recommend this air purifier. This is one of those “no brainer” decisions as well as peace of mind in purchasing it and let it protect the air in your home. I appreciate being able to get something dependable and take a concern off my mind. There is a notification when the filter needs changing. This helps simplify and improves my family’s quality of health. You might check out the manufacturer’s website because there are occasional promotions not available on Amazon.

Love this air purifier
Update 8/20. The light came on around the 4th month to change the charcoal filter. It’s very easy to unplug, unscrew the bottom and take the whole filter out. I took the outer filter off and washed it under the faucet and hung it up to dry. I replaced the charcoal filter then waited for the outer filter to dry before reassembling it. Super easy. I bought the filter on the manufacturers website and noticed they have some newer updated filters to try. I will buy the one that’s supposed to capture the flu virus. It looks to me like I’ll be spending about 140 per year on filters for this air purifier. I will update when it’s been a full year. But, I never turn this off and I love how clean my indoor smells and feels. Still very happy with this purchase. Excellent air purifier. I’ve had several more expensive and less expensive air purifiers and this is the best out of all I’ve tried. I recommend not wasting your time or money on any purifier under 100 dollars. In my experience, it’s just not going to do what you buy a air purifier for. I’ve owned an Allen and it worked well, but for twice the price point of this one. Yet it was bigger, louder, and harder to clean. This one checks all the boxes, auto mode works well as long as you have the remote sensor plugged in and positioned well. It’s pretty much silent on whisper mode. It cleans the air efficiently in the area I have it in (600 sq ft). and like the Allen, there is a perceptible difference in the air quality. It definitely eliminates odors quickly and Ive breathed much easier during high pollen days in my area. Unlike the Allen it’s a smaller footprint/shape and looks good too. Several family members who’ve been over since I bought it have commented on how attractive it is. Two have decided to buy one for their own homes. I’ve only had it a month so I cannot comment on longevity or ease of changing the filter, but I will update this review when I do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this one at this time.

SPACE SAVER, QUIET, EFFICIENT!
I bought this air purifier for a basement room and a day after installing the air quality in the room was considerably improved. It's looks modern, quiet, is efficient, and saved us space given we replaced it with an older, noisier and larger device we had running in the room. Highly recommended!
