Edgard Cooper Grain Free Dog Food Dry, (Salmon 2,5kg), Natural Kibble Dry Dog Food for Adult Dogs, Fresh Meat, Hypoallergenic, Gluten-Free, Rich in Amino Acids

I've tried a few dog foods since a Shih Tzu arrived at my house and either he hasn't liked them or they have given him large stinky poos; thankfully I have to say he likes this food and his poos are mostly small and firm so that's all I can ask for! Seems a good food ethically as doesn't contain poultry and other bi-products but also going to try their vegan option when they have it on offer. UPDATE: The last bag I purchased 27th January 2026 I noticed as soon as I opened the bag that it was a much darker colour with a slightly different smell, but I didn't think anything of it until my dog didn't want to eat it; he ate a bit of it last night because I refused to give him anything else because I thought he was just not hungry, but he was very hungry by the evening so he reluctantly ate some, but today he has not touched it, he backs off from it like it's poison and won't take it from my hand or mixed with anything else; he is really hungry and happily eating whatever I have that's suitable for him till I can get some different dog food, it's late evening now and he is hungry but will not eat this kibble. By the way, today his poop was soft and very smelly, not exactly diarrhea but not good! I'm not going to try and make him eat any more, he is right to not eat it, he's not being fussy, I do not know what's gone wrong with this food, but now I have to search for a different dog food. The most recent bag I purchased like all of the previous ones have been from Amazon and not a third party seller, just to be clear I've not had any problems before until this most recent purchase and I'm sorry I haven't got the batch number or date on the bag except 2027, because I discarded the bag and it's gone now as the bins were emptied; I decant the food into a dog food storage box.

This product started off at £13 + the last bag was damaged and a later use by date from the previous bag. The next bag is priced at £17 + I will be going back to buy it at my local pet shop.

Really good quality dog food. My dogs fur looks shinier than ever and they are energised and healthy. Feels great to know that food for your fury babies has been made with the best ingredients and taken off all the rubbish that other “marketeer” brands use (like ashes - if you look at your dogs food, make sure it has no more than 6% ashes) These guys make the best food I have ever found! My Kira and Khloe love it 😊

Having purchased this product and fed it to my dogs on a daily basis for the past 8 years . My knowledge of the colour and smell of this dog biscuit should be beyond all reasonable doubt. Since my regular purchase from Amazon in early October ,2024 I was supplied with a unrecognisable dog biscuit. The smell was no longer a fishy smell but a very strong acrid smell, that literally made me want to vomit. The biscuit colour was no longer a light chestnut brown colour but a dark brown colour. After 8 years of eating this product my dogs then determined that they were no longer going to eat the dark brown colour of Salmon kibble. I then mixed the light and dark brown biscuits together., which they ate. When only the dark brown biscuit was left and offered to them they would will not eat it. The last 3 bags of this product I purchased early October 2024 are the dark brown colour . These bags did not have an expiry date stamped at the top of the bag or a reference number.All dog food in the UK market must be labelled with an expiry date. Previous batches of this product purchased had expiry dates and reference numbers with the last three bags did not have this legal requirement. I contacted Edgard & Cooper by email early in October,2024 advising them of my findings and concern .They responded by email that it would be difficult to withdraw this “batch “ of biscuits because they have no means to trace and recall them. Amazon customer service were really listened to my complaint and where most helpful .They are in the process of sending a refund. I will never purchase Edgard & Cooper again. Something fishy

Unfortunately, the last time we bought this from Amazon, the bag had gone off. The kibble was darker than usual and made our dog's tummy quite sick. We thought at first he had eaten something funny but through process of elimination realised it was the kibble. It seems quite hard to get a refund for dog food over Amazon, too. Our dog is mad about it and it is good for sensitive tummies - when it’s not gone off! We are going to buy it only from pet stores from now on.

unser Hund (Havaneser 8 Jahre alt , 7,5 kg schwer) liebt Trockenfutter speziell mit Lachs und Huhn. Das Trockenfutter ist gut verpackt geliefert worden. Da unser Hund im Futter sehr wählerisch ist, jedoch dieses Futter verschlingt, gehe ich davon aus das es ihm schmeckt. Persönlich kann ich sagen: Der Geruch des Futters ist nicht so streng für meine Nase, wie manch andere Sorten die wir ausprobiert haben.

Molto sano e buono, anche i cani delle mie amiche sono ghiottì, lo usano da mesi e stanno meglio, pelo piu lucido, alito leggero per di piu nessuno problema intestinale al cambiato del cibo e fino ora
