This will be the second headset for my original detector. I have to say that the wiring is cheesy, thin, and prone to fracturing over time. Too much clay in the rubber coating I think. Otherwise, they work well.

They work as described, but no volume control on dry land where they are LOUD. Really freakin LOUD!They work great under water however.

I used this in the Gulf of Mexico without any problems with my Garrett AT Pro. Sound is just a little different than land headphones they make.

The insulation on the cable on my original headphones started coming off after five years, so it was necessary to purchase new headphones though the headphones themselves were working fine. The cable was not replaceable

This is a great item for getting wet
