Not worth the hassle!
Well where do I start the customer service has a chat line I was asking for help to set it up for a claim but all they did is send me to their website. I was asking for help with the website and 3 different people on the chat said go to the website. No help at all. Then they want you to take it to the certified repair place and get it fixed. Which happens to be 3 states away. Then pay for the repairs and send them the bill. When I asked if they would help me find a certified place in my city. They all said go to the website.Useless, complicated, helpless

Bought for espresso machine
I like the coverage for the espresso machine. I do not like that I cannot contact the seller. If you purchase the coverage, you should receive an email. Since I cannot contact the seller, I cannot ask for a copy.

I bought coverage, now I have no idea if I'm covered
I bought this protection coverage for a espresso machine. They don't provide evidence that the coverage actually ties to your product, even after I called in to register. They tell you to "rest assured" that you are covered. I would rest assured if you could give me some electronic evidence that the warranty is tied to the product! Maybe someday if I have to make a claim, I'll point to this review. I pray I don't have a claim for my Philips 3200 espresso machine!

Awesome customer service!
I bought the Asurion warranty for our DeLonghi Perfecta espresso/coffee maker back in 2019. Unfortunately the espresso maker developed a leak which we could not find. We contacted Asurion & they sent us a Return Authorization email with instructions on how to send it to them for repair or assessment. Within a day, we packed up the espresso maker & sent it back to them. We received a notification in the mail that they received the item & they will update us on next steps. After 3 days they sent us an email stating they cannot fix the item and they are sending us a credit for the full amount we paid for it in 2019. I am impressed at how efficient Asurion handled our issue.We just purchased a new DeLonghi Magnifica espresso maker and we bought another four year warranty from Asurion. Thank you for making a very easy transaction even easier by your efficient handling of our issue.

Long process & bad repair department
Bad insurance, they play a lots of games. Took me more than two months to get my money although it was less than current value of my product. They have a lots of excuse to do not pay you. Very bad repair department by repairing 3 times and no result. I don’t know what to do!?!! I bought another product and I don’t know how can I get it insure because I don’t want to go with them. I wish I could get another one.

Doesnt call back nor made necessary action
I have tried to communicate. The agent told me that he already registered my product. Up to this time, I have no idea how this insurance would actually work. I have no working sealing machine, my business is affected. Its a rift off!

Likely a waste but once in a while you may wish you had it.
These often feel unnecessary and expensive. I've yet to utilize this because the device I bought it for still has it's own warranty to use which is better, but shorter in years.

Security
So happy to know that if the expensive espresso maker we bought for our mom breaks this protection plan will cover it. I almost never buy these but I couldn't pass.
