Marvel Alphablock (An Abrams Block Book): The Marvel Cinematic Universe from A to Z

Working with my 5 year old to prepare him for Kindergarten. He's been in daycare since he was a toddler and Preschool so he knows some letters. However, letter and sound recognition seem to be his weak area or one he doesn't care much to engage in. He's a big super hero fan, his bedroom is Marvel Avengers themed. So, I started with finding YouTube video songs that incorporated letters and sound recognition but most importantly incorporated his favorite superheroes to capture his attention. He Loved It!!! My next thought was, I wonder if there are super hero letter cards or a book that he and I could read before bed. I found this book, ordered it and it arrived the very next day. We read it for the very first time tonight and he was so excited! It's very durable (boardbook) and arrived undamaged. The illustrations are very cool. My only con, there are characters that he is not too familiar with but I recognize them from all the movies. This means he may not pay close attention to the letters for these characters. Also, the spine could be more durable to support the weight of the thick pages. A kid could easily separate the cover from the pages if not held correctly. All in all I'm happy with this purchase.

Love it! This book is so cool, perfect for the Marvel fan and their kids. I purchased this for my husband to read to our 2yr olds and he was very impressed at the wide variety of characters and the quality of the book itself. We have a lot of marvel books and this one is my favorite. The pages are fun and reveal the letter and name of the characters differently on each page and because it is a board book even little ones can help turn the page without issue. Based on the quality of this book and its illustration I would definitely buy one of the other block books for my kiddos or as a gift. Five stars for sure.

I gave this to my 3 year old nephew and he reads it every night before going to sleep. After only having it a short time, I can ask him any letter and he'll tell me the superhero. The illustrations are beautiful and colorful - extremely impressive. The letter cutouts are VERY cool and I like that he'll see and touch the shapes (letters) every time he turns a page!! It's a thick, sturdy book. Such a fun ABC book for superhero loving kiddos!

My grandson’s favorite book

My 4 year old has been carrying this book around ever since I gave it to him Christmas morning. He loves Marvel super heroes and villains and was so excited to get this book. It’s fun- shaped like a big block and the letters and graphics are fantastic, easy for him to manipulate - the pages and flaps are sturdy and are holding up well, which says a lot for a 4 year old lol! We love the legend in the back too.

When you have a baby you read books over and over. It’s nice to have a book that creates conversation for the adults too. Each of the letters stand for a character or place within the MCU. There are scenes from the movies and it’s fun to figure out which exact movies they are from. Also the pictures are full of color with cut outs for the letters, and they both hold the baby’s attention.

My grandson’s 2nd birthday theme is Marvel Characters. I was looking for a book for a 2 year old boy. I found your Marvel Alphablock book and was so excited to give it to him! He LOVES this book! This is a board page book, with great cut outs, emphasizing the alphabet letters. The pages being thicker makes the book a little heavy. My grandson carries it around to wherever he wants to sit and turn each page to look at the letters & pictures in the book. Nana did Good! 😃👍

I am not sure who was happier with this book, my son or his marvel obsessed dad! Really fun book and a great way of learning the alphabet in a more fun way. Great hard book that has been thrown around and still intact! Great price and good present idea.
