Super Strong
Very strong. Allowed me to hold up branches rather than having to have them removed.

Easy to use.
I used the 1” to tie up some twenty year old Arborvitae on my property. Very easy to use and seems strong and durable. They’ve already withstood a significant storm without any issues.

Master Mark product did not work
In theory the product sounds good. But in a actual application I found the product hard to use and it did not really do the job in helping to pull up the shurbs that got damage over the winter with all of the snow and ice. I purchased two 100 foot rolls. I have one unopened I wish I could return it but it is most likely too late to do so,

Works as advertised.
Used to tie up large arbor vitae flattened by snow. Works as advertised. Easy to work with. Does not damage plants.

Does the job well!
The packaging leaves a little something to be desired. It comes in a simple cardboard box with a slit that allows the chain to feed through, but it doesn't dispense as easily and cleanly as you would hope. That being said, the chain material itself works exactly as advertised and does the desired job. The material seems to be pretty strong and I expect it will last. The black hides well in the arborvitae that I tied up with it. I will definitely get more as needed.

Excellent product. I finally found it!
Years ago, the TV show This Old House featured this chainlock product. Since I have two privacy hedge-rows of arborvitaes, I began searching local nurseries and home centers for this product. Arborvitaes, like similar evergreens, are multi-stemmed. These plants need to be secured to prevent damage from splaying apart under the weight of snow and ice accumulation. Last Fall, Ask This Old House did another segment of using this product to secure an arborvitae hedge-row.Since I could not find this product years ago, I improvised and substituted pneumatic tubing and brass-barbed fittings. But this is not the most cost effective solution. Now that I saw the product is still available, I asked the local nurseries and home centers where I could find this product. They all gave me the deer in the headlights stare. By chance I searched for "chainlock tree tie" on Amazon and finally found what I had been searching for all these years! It's too bad that the local stores do not stock this product, but I'm so happy I now know where to get it.

The correct size for trees up to 2 inches in diameter.
If you are securing a tree up to two inches in trunk diameter, this is the correct size. Any smaller size will not work for trees, especially if your tree is in a windy location. I learned the hard way.
