I bought this book for my nieces. My mom grew up with these books and in her stead I ordered this entire set. These stories are all about women roll models and strong women through history. I would definitely recommend the stories. As for the condition…the book was not in the greatest condition. It had obviously been loved and most likely in a child’s library. All in all these are great stories and I would definitely recommend them!!!!

Beautiful Coffee Table Book, great rendition of Marie Antoinette's life, would highly recommend to anyone that loves that era of history. the cover is absolutely amazing with gold etching.

This book was presented to us in a padded envelope. The condition is New. Nothing torn, nothing stained and no discoloration. There is no need to be concerned with the seller. I received exactly what I had hoped for my daughter to write her essay. This was much less expensive than purchasing at a "brick and mortar" store and the library only had one copy - which was already out to loan.Buy with confidence.

I purchased this book for my 10 year old granddaughter who is, currently very interested in the female crown heads of Europe. She thoroughly enjoyed it. She felt it was well written and added tremendously to her knowledge base about this very interesting woman who died early.

Recommend for ages 10+ and the entire royal diaries series is awesome.Kathryn Lasky has several good reads. Highly recommend you look her up.

Royalty is so fascinating! Every girl wants to be a princess st one time or other, and when your older the politics, and ways of life for someone like you a long time ago is so interesting!! Kathryn lasky did a very good job writing this book.

It arrived somewhat late but is a delightful book with gold edges: a rarety these days. I have only read here and there so far but shall delve in more thouroughly soon. A new aspect of Marie Antoinette from her early days.

Bought at read with my daughter but really loved reading these when I was in Junior high so I thought that they would be worth the money to buy now that I have kids of my own.

This book is really good. It has easy words and is very interesting. I love to read about life of some people especially Marie Antoinette and so purchased this book. Its really fun reading this book.
